- Woah...slow down there... 2011-11-14 11:28:26 I’m not one to send one video to a ton of conventions, but after having Evangelion 0.22 – Shinji does (not) Mean Business rejected for content at Anime Mid-Atlantic, I decided to submit to a few extra, expecting the ones that said videos must be “family friendly” to reject the video. Very happy that people have enjoyed the video so far and I hope to come up with more videos that people enjoy just as much. My first two videos were only sent to spring conventions, so this was my first year to send to summer and fall conventions and I have to say that I’m happy that people enjoyed the videos. Hopefully one of these days I can attend more conventions that I submit videos to.
- AWA 2011 2011-10-06 01:21:22 Well, finally “recovering” from AWA after getting sick when arriving home. Was a great time and I had fun meeting all the editors there. Was great to get another chance to hear the crowd reaction to “Shinji does (not) Mean Business” and as it was at Otakon, some fans of Flight of the Conchords were singing along. Was a bit disappointed my Masters video had to get cut in the awards ceremony for time, but at the same time I got to see a lot of amazing videos. While the reception isn’t great for my newest video, glad to get some feedback so I can improve after breaking it all down.
- It's my first time, be gentle ;)! hehe... 2011-08-01 17:07:58 Just when I thought the year couldn’t get any better...it did! I had never been to Otakon, so when I got the chance to go this year I decided I had to make a video for the AMV contest. Winning Best Comedy at Otakon was a dream of mine, but I never imagined that it would happen on my first try! Even more so than that, I did not expect the video to pull best in show as well! With that said, I enjoyed getting the chance to work with snapxynith on the project. I was very glad that he could help out so that the video could be completed in time and I have to say, the video turned out much better than I ever expected thanks to him and his amazing text work! Overall, the Otakon experience was great and I hope to return next year with another video :)!
- A New Begining! 2011-04-27 22:49:12 Well...here I am getting involved with Anime Music Videos...I never thought I would be making AMVs. What started out initially as a one shot joke at Naruto in 2005 has brought me back and made a hobby of itself. I suppose it is last year that convinced me to take up this hobby after winning Best in Comedy at Katsucon and Animazement, as well as getting a great response from Anime Boston. Here I am a year later, simply stunned at winning Best Romance at Anime Boston for a video that started out as an experiment to see if I could make a Romantic Comedy AMV. While it is nice to win, my main goal is to make videos for people to enjoy with smiles and laughter. With more videos lined up or already in production, I hope that everyone can enjoy and have more laughs and smiles while watching my videos.
