....I might have found temporary hosting. I signed up for an account with Tripod, so hopefully I can get the MPEG versions of my videos up there and rotate them. At least until the Donut gets rolling.
- MegaCon fever 2003-02-19 12:04:23 It's that time of year again! With both MegaCon and the VCAs coming up, I' have to say I'm psyched. Considering I can actually afford to go to MegaCon for two days this year instead of just Saturday. My first AMV contest! Woohoo! I really don't care if I win or not. Just having my vids shownup on those big Con screens is enough for me ^_^

Half-done with page 2 of the preliminary storyboard for Operation Rebirth. Between that and trying to build a game mod off the Unreal Tournament engine for my class, I've got my work cut out for me, and I've learned the fine art of replacing 8 hours sleep with three caraffes of java.
The WEIRDEST thing about making Operation Rebirth is that I'm actually editing it backwards. With most AMVs, you edit the video to fit the audio. This time, I'm editing the audio to fit the video. The reason? Since I'm making the animation myself, I want to alter the actual footage as little as possible to preserve quality. Ergo, sound effects and such will be mixed according to the video, not the other way around.

There are way too many good things going on right now to be true. First being that three very brave (or crazy) individuals are attempting to resurrect Beast Wars Anonymous and recover the most-requested fanfics it once hosted. Guess whose fics are among those? Yep, yours truly. If that wasn't enough good news, I found an abandoned hard copy of one of the fics, which I was able to scan and send them.

In fact, I'm feeling so good I'm debating not going to class tonight. I probably will, just because I'm a frelling goody-two-shoes. But c'est la vivre....
