Great mp3 cutter
2004-10-27 20:47:18
MP3 Surgeon 2004 Pro functions very much like MP3Cutter freeware I used to prefer, but this one has a few more useful features such as the amplitude graph, zoom, marker-positioning by using mousenudge, and split mp3 into odd/even sections. These features really speeds up the edit. If you're stuck with mp3 sources and need to do audio-cutting for your AMV, I recommend MP3 Surgeon and windows calculator as your editing solution.

I have some freetime this week, so I'm doing an AMV since yesterday. Here is a bit about my latest project:
Anime = Angel Sanctuary (Tenshi Kinryoku)
Music = "We could be in Love" - Lea Salonga & Brad Kane
It's another romance vid, but less heavy than my older vid (Vulnerable), and has no story but "we could be in love".
I suppose I could do an action vid for a change, but I need to get this one out first because the idea for this one (actually) has been pending in my head for 4 years. That's very long before I did the "Hero". I never could finish the project then because I lacked the commitment, and was quite busy in Uni. But now I'm free.
Also, this will be my first attempt at lip-synch. I must say it's very much work because I have to cut clips to little pieces and then rearrange and duplicates and have the proper facial expressions to make the characters appear like they're singing.
So far I've finished about 50% of the timeline, much less if I hadn't cut the song short. I don't want to torture myself too much, I'd like to keep this as a hobby.

Did I wrote that "(very funfortunate)" in that second last entry. Nevermind.
My friends and I just had our products presentations yesterday. It was quite humiliating (me). First my shirt got horribly wrinkled from the bus trip from Penang to KL. Second I stiffed mostly during my presentation. I forgot my cuecards, blurped out comments in northern accent (cakap utagha). I got reviewed pretty badly... I wanna forget it!!

Since late June I've been co-help building a portal suite from scratch for some institution. Unfortunately (very funfortunate) we've been very late in cathing up with the project. The app is supposed to be ready for test within mid next month but we're still on development and is only 40%. The dateline is next week so to catch up we have to do QC altogether. I haven't been able to sleep some nights coding & debugging @__@. Still has a lot to do before next week, and also have to start bind huge docs later this afternoon, coding after that. Right now my eyes hurt like hell from too much monitor radiation. My mind is sorta 'blank' I can't think much. I know I have to rest but I just can't go to sleep.@@@@@@@
This portal suite thing I'm posting about may be too vague. So look in Infopop's Eve; Our app is a bit like that, but not for sale.
