Haven't been productive for some time. I ought to finish my KARAS Exodus vid but haven't been in a mood for it.
I saw KARAS ep.2 the other day. It was okay; had very few scenes suited for my vid but I couldn't include it just because the raw avi was ugly. -

Finally, got me a Abit KD7 at the post office yesterday afternoon. Although it took me > 3 hours to assemble everything back (part of the time were wasted downloading AC97 codec from the net. F*ck TMNet!), I'm very much relief now that the board works perfectly with my Thorton & 9550GT. I'd thank Alex Chew for his item =)
So the problem was my old Shuttle mobo couldn't boot at 133MHz FSB. My attempt to reflash the BIOS had made it broke. I've decided to let go of it at auction tomorrow starting RM1. Hopefully some buyer would be interested.
Now that my prob is done I can continue upgrading my rig. My targets are:
- Vantec AeroFlow2 -- already confirmed
- Carbon Fiber finish
- Edifier bookshelf speakers
- 24-bit 96/192kHz sound card
For the latter, I'm stuck between Audigy 2 Value and Chaintech AV-710. The Audigy 2 is great for games & ASIO, but I heard AV-710 stereo quality is a lot superior. -
That was a clear sign of motherboard problem.

Two days ago I reflashed the BIOS, hoping to get 133mhz fsb to work, but it turned out the BIOS chip went kaput, DAMMIT! ><
After that, Immediately I ordered a new motherboard at lelong.com.my. It might arrive tomorrow or Thursday. Huuh, More $$ flew! -__- -

My comp crashed, and now my 2400+ proc got underclocked to all of the sudden 15x100. WTF!?
I tried to reset to 133 but it just won't POST and gave me weirdest beeps, aargh! ><
I hate AMD, VIA and their fault-prone products -

The Best ever underrated action/adventure game has one of the worst and most annoying bug that hasn't been fixed by Ubisoft.
I bought this old game about half a year ago but hadn't been able to finish it since I got stuck at a point to obtain the second triangle key. That damn stupid key just won't fall down the ramp! Finishing the other two sections and then went back to that point resulted a game crash! At that time I thought "that's it, game over" since I felt so frustrated. I didn't thought about looking for fix.
Sometime after that my HD crashed, amvs, savegames and documents gone, and I moved on. Got a new drive to start anew.
Two days ago I suddenly felt like continuing the game all the way from the beginning. Still stuck at the same point, and so I figured it's a game bug and looked for solutions on the net. Luckily at ubiforums I found BGEFix. It's the unofficial patch that gave me an extra key to save the hassle. Kudos to rahly! Boo! to ubisoft.
Today I finally got through it and I must say it was really Awesome! The last 2 quest towards the Lunar base were full of action & cinematic scenes - from running over rooftops, to dogfights on the moon, to difficult final battle against the evil lord, with matrix effects - Despite a lot of frustrations & replays I still enjoyed them all thoroughly, and certainly am going to play it again to get all the pearls & photos.
My closing comment: As you noticed I'm promoting this game to you all. If you haven't seen nor played this I highly suggest you go get it regardless you like the design or not b/c don't judge a book by its cover. When I first saw a review of this game I didn't like its less serious setting and the pig (Pey'j) but boy, I was totally wrong.
