Got me a ProDigy 7.1 sound card last Saturday. It's quite an awesome card. ^^
Listening to music resampled to 24-bit 192kHz really gives a lot of difference compared to onboard realtek. First of all, everything sounds clearer and deeper, and the signal noise is now gone forever. Best of all, it rocks the house (that partly thanks to r1900t3 which I recently bought)
I have a few gripes though. The card doesn't function after hibernate. And then it hangs once in a while when I'm using modplug tracker + asio output. These could be solved with an updated driver.
Overall: 192khz resampling makes this an excellent card for music listening. But it needs a lot of careful handling or otherwise the comp hangs. Not as fast as Creative ones.
If audio pleasure is your concern, you can't go wrong with prodigy. But for better stability & games the audigy2 might be better. As for me, I'm a techy nerd and audio enthusiast so I'm happy having this. ^__^ -

2 days ago I went to Ukay Perdana to meet my old friend from UKM, Dahlan who now works at MARA. He offered me a work for side-income. My job is to edit an episode of education programme for demo to BTP (Education TV Department). I accepted it and got an RM200 in advance.
And then the next day I bought me a Edifier R1900TIII bookshelf speakers at All IT Hypermarket. And boy it was awesome! ^__^

Received my job description today.
- IT support - 1 year contract - 1600 salary - 10 days vacation -
Quite satisfying.
