JOURNAL: flawedkaos (Rich )

  • Monotony 2004-05-26 00:40:19 What a day/night. I work third shift at a motel. This is so boring. I clean a room then sit motionless for the rest of the shift (between 10 and 12 hrs). The highlight of the night was when I got a call saying all of downtown is flooded and people need a room. A whole woping 2 peolpe came. Through the whole night and the morning it was storming. I guess Pink Floyd said it best, "Ticking away the moments that make up the dull day. You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way." If it wasn't for the dsl in the rooms and my laptop I would fall asleep (sad thing is I actually have, standing at the front desk). This place has cable, but nothing is on at 4 o'clock in the morning >_<. And you can only listen to the same cds so many times.

    Well I guess it isn't all that bad. This job gave me the money to buy a car and stuff. Plus it gives me a chance to bring up my grades (do homework, thesis', what not). Maybe I will start my bishoujo drawing again. I have plenty of time to perfect it.
