Video progression is nice!

I would say I am 40% done with my new video. There is still quite a bit
of work to do, but I am very pleased with the way it is turning out.
Ever since seeing the first episode of Cowboy Bebop I have wanted to make
a high speed, action packed, fun-filled video. Now finally the opportunity
has arisen with what I believe is an excellent song for keeping the pace
for my extravaganza. (yeah... sounds like a decent description)
I have no idea if this video will stand out among the 250+ others,
but that doesn't really matter to me. I just wanted to work with the
excellent footage and put together a video with my own ideas.
I don't like taking the attitude of "my vids are great" and "everything I
make you should like" since this is just unrealistic and I find it pretty
damned ridiculous when someone says it. I have high hopes for this video,
but only considering how much fun Bebop footage is to work with... haha
Lately I have been recieving consistent reviews, almost daily, for at least
one my of videos. I really enjoy reading them, even if the scores aren't
so great. :P Thanks to those out there that give reviews. I don't very
often... so no thanks to ME. hehe

Back to editing!

Through some miracle... my hard drive has returned to normal functionality.
Western Digital also has a fairly good policy about replacing drives, so
if this one acts up again, I am going to send it back. I suspect that
maybe my (shoddy?) IDE cable was either loose (after 3 months??) or just a
bad cable.
Either way, my new video is under way. All the clips are cut and I have
put down some of them in the general parts of the song where I think they
will fit. :P Maybe I should just release that. hahahaha ...pure effort for
putting some clips in the general area to later sync... :P x 100
Opinions for my Big O video have been a surprise to me. They are a bit more
positive than I had expected. Of course the video is just about what I
envisioned when I first conceptualized it... regardless of the fact that
the editing seems slower than just about any of my other videos.
It's late so if this entry seems odd maybe that's why.

1 dead hard drive + 1 set of clips from 23 episodes of a show = disaster!
Haha actually I am not doing so horribly... The 2nd drive is playing nice
and allowing me to copy data from it... but if I reset the power it
has to click 40 times (not just a click... more like a ka-chunk)...
I have an old 10 gb drive to back some things to, but I don't know if I
can save all of my clips. Hopefully so!
I will put my video server back up sometime soon, since it actually is
on my old Drive and not the one that just died! (new = dead, whatta joke)
:P
Oh well, I guess.

New Video in the beginning stages.

I am ripping/converting/clipping for my new video. I took a short break
from editing to gather together my ideas for my next video. I also did
quite a bit of music 'testing' to decide which song would present the idea
the best. This is going to be a fast paced, high action video. Just my
style! :P
This video should be a ton of fun to make, which is exactly my goal when
editing. The footage and music seem to be meant for each other... of course
you can argue that when it's complete! :)
...hope for no seizures...

Most underated... haha, too bad I don't think 1200 people have actually
downloaded the video. :P
Nominating creators/videos is a tough process... I feel like I am cheating
99% of the people because I haven't seen their videos. There are some
excellent ones out there that I am bound to miss... =(
Oh well... my one nomination can miss a few, and hopefully other people
will catch those that I miss.
I decided to NOT nominate myself as I would rather know that other people
have chosen my videos... not me! :P
