  • Graduation! 2002-06-15 14:55:43 My friend said it best, "Soooo computer science graduation."

It was an interesting fast paced graduation. 60 total graduates receiving
their bachelors degree. We were herded up to the podium and handed the
speaker cards with our names on them.(no order due to degrees being mailed)

Graduation in general still hasn't hit me... but I do know one thing, I am
    very very tired. :P
  • Last one! 2002-06-14 15:28:54 I just took, what should be, my last college final! Oh joy! :P

ML and Scheme programming questions are so fun fun fun!

... uhm ... brain fried! Now I just want to see that all my grades are
    passing...
  • No more "AXin'" Mpeg2 Questions 2002-06-12 13:16:45 So through some form of magic my submissions to AX are ready to go. I have
no idea whether they will play in some mutilated form on their systems or
not. Foolish use of 640x480 for my final 'stored' version...
...but now they are actually in 720x480...

So one of my submissions is a direct result of all the shit I have ever
given ErMaC. (lol) Nah I figure and hope that I am more on his "don't give
a crap about these people" than his "to kill" list.

I decided on three videos that I have always enjoyed and I figure at least
one person in the audience won't have to run screaming out of the room in
terror from how god awful they are. (now that's a tough AMV goal!?)
...assuming they are shown in the finals etc etc etc...

  • Hmmm.. 2002-06-09 00:44:25 My final day of classes was fairly lame, just some evaluations for
professors... then I went home and continued to work on my database/web
interface mess. I must admit that Java Servlets and SQL are remotely 'fun'
in the messed-up-in-da-head kind of way. I think my future career might
have to involve servlets or some other web related programming!

I have started to form ideas and think of songs for my latest video too!
For some reason recently I began to hammer at After Effects to see what I
could make it do that wouldn't look so damned "after-effectsy." ... no
luck yet... though 3d layers are fairly cool...

Oh well, back to database programming!
  • 2 Weeks! 2002-05-30 20:03:56 Graduation is sneaking up on me. Hopefully I am actually graduating...
No new videos in the works currently... just school work/tests. My
latest video Salvation is getting rave reviews... oh wait... no it isn't
getting any lol. :P Oh well, this is another video that maybe I made simply
to fill a desire to take an episode of Boogiepop Phantom and go insane.

(Angel's Egg spoiler... don't read unless you are willing to have the
    film spoiled :P)

I saw Angel's Egg last night (Oshii Mamoru) and wow... that's a very
interesting film. It isn't a high action or high paced film. Some would
likely find it boring. The most fascinating part was discussing the film
in class and coming up with random interpretations of it. Mine, although
arguable on a million levels, was "A fallen angel finds a new religion to
follow/cherish in an egg. She believes that one day the egg will hatch
bringing about... salvation whatever. A (Christian?) god arrives and
decides to break the egg proving to her that her beliefs/hopes are simply
false. The egg is broken and nothing is inside. The girl runs to the
god character and falls to her death ... but in death breathes life into
the religion she held so dear in the reproduction of eggs from her final
breath (she fell in water, the eggs form from bubbles)... her beliefs can
be picked up and held by others... "

    I am crazy! :P
