I just spent hours marking off every scene change in Appleseed (thank you local retailers for nicotine and caffeine!). I swear, I think it took 200+ cuts for a 50 minute span. At least tomorrow I have something to jump into.
Last nights efforts had to be put on hold until I can finish getting the scenes I need. It's so frustrating ....
I took some time to work on experimenting with hand made transitions afterwards. I wish my editor had the options for what I was trying to do ... but it was interesting to do things on my own.

so I started work on a new video for fun and got wrapped up in seriously picking it apart. Started it late and got way to frustrated because I have to do a ton more editing. Capturing doesn't really take that long ... but the system is pretty slow at saving and rendering. That, coupled with the recent heat, keeps pushing me away from the comp.
As I look over the collection of source material between me and my bro, I keep feeling "I need to get more!". Being out of work at the moment doesn't really help though. Something's gotta give ... I just hope it isn't my sanity ... -

alright, so tomorrow (Thursday, 26th), I'll have my first video up. If you like Samurai Champloo or want to check out a song from the new NIN album, check it out. I think it's pretty good for what kind of equipment and progs I'm working with. I tried to stay with a sunflower theme to keep the dream sequences tied together. I've got 2 other vids made, but, I'm not going to post them.
Now I'm just waiting to get a cheap VCR to expand my source materials.
