  • Stumpy and His Wife 2001-11-07 21:38:14 This is just another joke I wrote.

Stumpy and his wife Martha, went to the state
    fair every year.
Every year Stumpy would say, "Martha, I'd like
to ride in that there airplane."
And every year, Martha would say, "I know
    Stumpy, but that airplane ride
costs ten dollars, and ten dollars is ten dollars."

    "Martha, I'm 71 years old. If I don't ride
that airplane this year, I may
    never get another chance."
Martha replied, "Stumpy that there airplane
ride costs ten dollars, and ten
    dollars is ten dollars."
The pilot overheard them and said, "Folks,
    I'll make you a deal. I'll take
you both up for a ride. If you can stay quiet
for the entire ride and not say
one word, I won't charge you, but if you say
    one word, it's ten dollars."
Stumpy and Martha agreed and up they go. The
pilot does all kinds of twists
and turns, rolls and dives, but not a word is
heard. He does all his tricks
over again, but still not a word.
They land and the pilot turns to Stumpy, "By
golly, I did everything I could
think of, to get you to yell out, but you didn't."
Stumpy replied, "Well, I was gonna say
something when Martha fell out, but
    ten dollars is ten dollars."

    Have a nice day!

  • Hooray.... 2001-11-01 18:44:11 Nothing new really...just thought I'd point out that my profile has gotten to the 500 hit mark, which I found pretty cool.

I also just saw two new Gorilla'z videos: "Tomorrow Come Today" and "19-2000". "TCT" was pretty cool. I liked how it mixed in the live action footage to the animation. "19-2000" was just awesome. These videos should be played more often on TV.
By the way, I downloaded these videos off Aimster if anyone's wondering where I saw them.
  • You Shove off! 2001-10-31 13:17:21 Ignore the title. It's a line from an MST3K episode.

I watched Band Of Brothers on HBO last Sunday. It's probably one of my favorite episodes but it was really depressing.

I've also been watching DBZ on Cartoon Network a lot more often. I'm not too interested in the show at all, but I's so fun to watch because it's just so damn stupid ^_^. My sister and I get a real kick out of the English version of DBZ. It's Pure Comedy, man!

I haven't worked on my latest Cowboy Bebop video for the past couple of days so I'm thinking about working on it some more tonight. Screw Halloween!!
  • George Washington and Peters 2001-10-29 19:34:35 Hope you enjoy this one . . . . .

A lot of people asked me where the saying "You gotta be shittin me" came
from. It so happens I know.

Way back, George Washington was crossing the Delaware River with his
troops. They were packed into the boats. It was extremely dark and
storming furiously. The water was tossing them back and forth. Finally
Washington grabbed Corporal Peters and stationed him at the front of the boat with a lantern. He ordered him to keep swinging it so they could see where they were heading. Corporal Peters stood up braving the wind and driving rain, swinging the lantern back and forth. A while later a big gust of wind hit and threw Corporal Peters and his lantern into the Delaware. Washington and his troops searched for hours trying to find Corporal Peters but to no avail. All of them felt terrible for the Corporal had been one their favorites.

An hour later Washington and his troops landed on the other side, wet and
totally exhausted. He rallied the troops and told them they must go on.
An hour later Washington and his men could go no further. One of hismen
said, "General, I see lights ahead." They trudged towards the lightsand
came upon a huge house there in the woods. What they didn't know was this was a house of ill repute hidden in the forest to serve all who came. General Washington pounded on the door, his men crowding around him.The door swung open and the madam looked out to see Washington and all his men standing there. A huge smile came across her face to see so many men standing there. Washington spoke up, "Mam, I'm General George Washington and these are my men. We're tired and exhausted and desperately need warmth and comfort for a while. Again the Madam looked at all the men standing there and with a broad smile on her face said, "Well General, you have come to the right place. We can surely give you warmth and comfort. How many men do you have?"
Washington said " Well ma'am, there are thirty-two of us without
    Peters."
The Madam said, "You gotta be shittin me !"

    Have a nice day!

  • Neo Tokyo 2001-10-28 01:22:12 I remember first seeing this film in 7th grade. I just rented it this weekend, and it really blew me away. The animation in this movie is just amazing for a film from 1986. Anyway, I just remembered that this film was out of print. I'm now searching franticly for an R2 DVD, Laserdisc, or a new VHS copy...ANYTHING!!
The movie would fit excellently with Tool's "Schizm". I was listening to Tool while watching the film and the whole idea just hit me.
I hope I can find a VCD or something so I won't have to invest 100 bucks in a capture card.

My Cowboy Bebop video is coming along greatly. I'm taking every step of its production one step at a time.
