JOURNAL: BigshotSpike (Jordan Peters)

  • Enchanted in the rapture of a sentimental sway... 2001-12-15 23:20:03 I just bought the R2 DVD of the Escaflowne movie and it's just amazing! Next to the Cowboy Bebop movie, it has the best action sequences I have ever seen in an anime. I'm thinking about making a video out of it sometime, probably using "Touched" by Vast or perhaps "Charging Fort Wagner" by James Horner.

I also saw the first volume of Boogiepop Phantom. It's the craziest anime I've ever seen(They have a guy who eat's spiders for crying out loud!). It's everything that Lain is but more...that's the best way to describe it.
I loved the series's sound design. next to Blood, it's the best I've heard.
    Tentative video idea:
"Glass and the Ghost Children"-Smashing Pumpkins

I'm getting all of these video Ideas all the sudden. I wish I had more space on my hard drive so I could work on more than one project. Sooner or later, I'm going to add atleast 80 gigs.

    God........I'm overwhelmed with inspiration!!!!!

  • Piece by piece and page by page, throw this book away... 2001-12-13 19:32:54 I'm thinking a lot today. I just finished reading "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. This book was freakin' weird, but just speelbinding. I just finished making a drawing of the main character of the story. Well, the entire thing isn't entirely finished, but I made my own rendition of Equality 7-2521. Hopefully, I'll have it up on my website soon.
