JOURNAL: BigshotSpike (Jordan Peters)

  • The years go on and we're...still...figh...ting it 2002-03-11 09:35:07 My computer's still having problems. You also may have noticed that my Cowboy Bebop videos are down. This is beacause of the problems the BAMVC has been having. Hopefully he'll have them back up soon.

I'll hopefully have everything finished by the end of this week.
  • Who wouldn't Be the One you Love?... 2002-03-05 13:00:43 My computer's being fixed right now so I won't be able to post very often (I'm using one of my schools computers to write this). I also won't get to any music videos for a little while. Since the BAMVC is getting a new host, my Tenchi Forever will probably take a while longer to get up and running as well as my Memories video.
Shaft and Let it Be may be down as well.

I'll have my computer back on Thursday, which mean about 5000 e-mails to respond too :p.

I apologize to everyone I haven't been able to respond to yet.

    I'll be back!
  • The Lunatic is on the grass 2002-02-25 13:15:51 I just sent in my Tenchi Forever video to the BAMVC. Hopefully it'll be up again soon. Thanks again Popndeth!

The two video I'm sending to Sakuracon will be Memorial and There Will Be an Answer, because I believe that they are my two best videos.

I won't be able to start any new projects for atleast a week since I have to get my computer fixed really badly.

Here's what I'll most likely do next:

    "Grace-JinRoh-Main theme-Omega"-Hajime Mizoguchi-Rurouni Kenshin OVAs.

The song clocks in at over 7 minutes, but I absolutely love it and it would fit Kenshin quite well.

    Peace! ^_^
  • Money, you get back. I'm alright Jack, but keep your hands off of my stack! 2002-02-16 21:30:43 Well, I'm glad I just got Memorial finished. Because now my computer is having some problems. My sound card went out and apparently I'm not missing a DVD decoder (WTF?!). It all just kinda came outa nowhere.
In the words of Jet Black: "Great! One more part to be replaced".

I just bought Vampire Hunder D: Bloodlust today. Damn, it is one hell of an impressive looking movie. Every cell of the movie has such of an artistic look to it. It must have taken hours just to produce sketches for this movie. I forgot how good the sound was as well. My favorite *sound* part is the first scene where there's a long camera pan of the City's houses's crosses. Very impressive.

Since it may take a while for me to work on any new projects, I've brainstormed a bunch of ideas for myself to do once I get everything runnin' again.

1."Tooth and Claw"-Killer Instict Soundtrack-Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust (it sounds like an actual song from the film)
2."Don't Look Back in Anger"-Oasis-Only Yesterday (I love making drama videos, and though the movie isn't listed as one of my favorites it definately is)
    3. "Drugstore" by Stabbing Westward or "The Everlasting Gaze" by Smashing Pumpkins with the Evangelion movies.
    4. "Disarm"-Smashing Pumpkins-Kenshin OVAs (It would fit so flawlessly)
    5. "This is Your Life"-Dust Brothers-Cowboy Bebop (and movie if possible. I'm not sure if this has been done yet or not, but I really want to do this one)

  • So....Sally can wait. She knows it's to late as we're walking on by. 2002-02-13 19:45:09 I have officially become inlove with Oasis. They are probably my favorite British band next to well.....Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Blur, The Gorillaz, and billion of others ^.^. The song "Don't Look Back in Anger" has become my absolute favorite song of the moment. I just can't get it out of my head.

Anyway, I've just completed my "Memorial" video. I was so surprised by how quickly I was able to finish this video. Though the editing was very tough as times, I was able to get past difficult parts quicker than usual because school has gotten easier and my computer is a lot faster. My vision for this video was nearly fully realized. I used little to no special effects in this video. The only effects I used were fades and a couple blurs since some scenes cut off short. What I really enjoyed editing the most was the video's ending. I added some wind sound effects in the backround to give it a really cold feeling. I really liked how this video turned out as a whole. I think it's probably my best work yet.
I'll add more comments when I self-review it.
