... with thoughts on anime. Lol. Somehow I forgot yesterday the reason why I made this journal entry. It was the last episode of GITS:SAC 2nd gig that I watched on MTV Germany. It was so wrong. It played in Berlin, and so it showed some familiar things. For example the Victory Column. Not only that the proportions were wrong. They called the figure on the top an angel. Ok, it may give this impression because the lady (usually angels are male, and for sure the archangels which would be on top of such a column) has wings. But it is a godess - Victoria, the godess of victory. The German leader of the international police operation did wear an actual German uniform - but it wasn't a police uniform. It was a uniform of the Bundeswehr, an army colonel. There was a girl that was blind. In her room was a laptop. In Germany blinds who use a computer normally have a Braille line, a device that types the font for blinds with a matrix of little pins so that blinds can feel it. But this one had none. I know in other countries blinds prefer screen readers, a software that speaks the text through the PC speakers. But Batu was reading her email, and there was no voice. And the girl had a handwritten (!) diary. And as if that isn't enough, the girl drove through the streets with a wheelchair without any support - no second person, no dog, no utilities like for e.g. a stick. At least the German texts - even the handwritten ones - as far as I could read them, seemed to be accurate. I wonder that I still watch it - it hasn't really anything that draws me into it - at least not consciously. Maybe it's because it's anime.
After joining my MEP segment with the stand alone part I did realize that there is much work to do. Since a long time passed by the editing style isn't consistent. And both sections need much work. The standalone section was without effects so far, so I have to add them. But the MEP segment has to be reworked too - I don't like it anymore as it is. Strange. After finishing it I was really satisfied how it came out.

Some thoughts on anime
2006-12-04 12:48:13
While watching Shaman King I often become reminded to my 2 most favourite anime - Noir and Queen Millenia. It's Lyserg, or better said his guardian ghosts. His original one - a little fairy - is called Chloe, like one of Noir's main characters. The arc ghost he gets from the X-Laws is named Selen - like one of my most favorite characters from Queen Millenia.
And that brings me to another topic - favorite characters. It' not very often that I have really favorite charcters in anime. Of course, I always like some more than others, but with favorite I mean something that goes beyond this. Mine are so far:
Queen Millenia - Selen and Mirai
Noir - Mireille
Inuyasha - Sango
Blue Submarine No.6 - that exceptionell Mutio
One Piece - Nico Robin
I don't wonder that it all are femals. There seems to be a scheme. All of them are very strong but carefull either. Some in generell, some in regard of specific persons. Nico Robin is something special - as real person she would be the impersonation of my ideal woman.

The times between my journal entries become longer. Being unemployed I should have enough time to edit AMV's. And yes, I have. But I lack motivation.
At least this weekend I did continue with the standalone version of my MEP segment. I think I'm around 90% now. I hope the motivation that let me edit so far will last.
The weather is crazy. It's December, and I can still ride my motocycle with the clothing for early spring or late autumn. While riding my motcycle today I had something that I call "Dying a little death". It's a short moment of very strong fear. I took over and wanted to return in my lane. It was well timed with the oncomming traffic. But a strong gust pushed me back in the wrong lane. Fortunatly nothing happened, but after that I could feel my heart beat in every fibre of my body. It may sound weird, but I love it to have such moments from time to time. It reminds me that the life can end in an instant and therefore it is important to live every moment.

Oops. It's 3 weeks ago that I made my last entry. Regarding AMV didn't happen that much. In the moment I haven't much drive to do anything. Worked a little bit on the intro for the Freddy Mercury MEP. Started with the standalone version of my MEP track.
I received an op for "A Fallen Angel". But it wasn't meant for this AMV. The funny thing is, I'm 99.99% for which AMV (a Noir AMV either) it was meant. If I'm right, the creator of the other AMV is reading my journal and a co-member of the Noir-board. Meanwhile the op is corrected so that it fits to my AMV. If it is always like this I'd appreciate more wrong op's. XD

My financial situation finally went that way that I was able to pay the garage bill. So I got my motorcycle back, after 3 long weeks. Today was a warm and sunny day. XD
My latest AMV is finally up.

Vlad didn't confirm Queen Millenia (TV). He requested me to use the existing Queen Millenia entry instead. I'm not satisfied with the situation. but he's the admin. In the moment it seems like the most people think it sucks. As I looked at the star rating this morning I thought it would be able to make last place in the all time star rating. Meanwhile it rised. Still bad, but not that worse. Of course, in the moment it are to less stars to make a reliable prediction where it'll go.
