Lol. Only a few hours after my last journal entry I found the missed paper. That it can't get lost again I did enter the data immediately. Right now I have finished watching the two final episodes of the series. So within the next days I'll start making clips, but probably not tomorrow, because after work I'll go to the traffic authority of my home town, to get a new license plate for my bike, so that she becomes a legal "citizen".
It's strange. I bought her as a short time replacement for my old bike, which got broke, until I have the money to buy a new one. Because of the circumstances I still have no money, so I have her meanwhile over 2 years. During that time I fell in love with her, so I'll keep her even if I buy (ever) a new one. I haven't given her a name so far. Now It's time to find one.
As I already told, I'll make 2 AMV using this anime. For this time I'll break my usual habit, to chose a project name which is part of the final name of the AMV. At least this is true for the second project. For the first one I haven't the shadow of an idea how to name the final AMV. So for the first project I'll use the name "love", for the second one "sisters". That are the names of the folders that I already have. So I'm cheating a bit, I have started the projects already. ;) It's not much, love contains only the scene selection, and sisters some songs that wait for decision which to use.
During watching the series I got the idea for a third AMV to "Le Grand Retour" from the Noir OST. During listening to the song I had to realize that the changes between fast and slow parts don't fit the flow of the footage. If it had fit, I probably had to use all available footage of the character that I want to feature, because she has so less appearance. So I'm looking now for another song. - Lost? 2007-05-13 14:53:49 Today I was on the road, to help friends to escort a motorcycle ride. Though I managed to watch 5 more episodes of the anime for my next AMV's. Time had allowed me to watch all 7 remaining episodes, but the last ones are so touching that it's better to do not. The notes for the first 4 episodes I made on a piece of paper before I moved. Now it looks like it got lost. Me idiot. Why didn't I make the notes at the computer like I do now? It's like always - who behaves stupid has more work. Either I have to rewatch them, or it needs more effort while making clips. :(

Over 1000 Hits!

Yeah, I got over 1000 hits - no, not for my journal, it passed 1000 hits long ago, but for an AMV - it's "Noir-Episode#25". I think that it is a recommended vid in the recommendation forum helped to push it. But unfortunately it has the second worst hit/download ratio.
Today I have made big effort for my next 2 projects - I watched 24 episodes o the anime that I want to use and made notes about the scenes to use. So only 7 episodes remain. Probably I can start making clips next week(end). If I look at the scene list - there is probably enough footage to make 10 AMV's. I will not have to use filler clips, in opposite, I have to fear that the songs are too short. - I moved! 2007-04-12 15:36:09 Yes, you read right. Finally I moved, and from now I have regular internet access again, and of course to my computer. In the next days not much will happen regarding AMV's or posting, because I have to clear up the flat. But over Easter I have started to rewatch the series that I will use for my next AMV and have made notes about the scenes. But since it has many episodes this will take a while before I can start making clips, not to speak about editing. The good thing is - I can make notes for my overnext project either.

The days after Easter I'll move. Starting from then I will have regular internet access again and have all on my hands to edit again. I think I will start my next project immediately.
Actually "A Secret Love" is my highest rated AMV. Though there aren't enough stars to make it reliable, that makes me happy after all the depressing low ratings on my 2 Queen Millenia AMV's. I think it shows 2 things - there is a strong fan factor on the star ratings, and that I improve, even if the steps are small.
"A Secret Love" is also the AMV with the most QC's. The one I received yesterday was very positive, but it had also a request that I for sure will not fullfill: to make dialogues inside an AMV only in English. I'll put in dialoges in whatever language I think that fits, and for sure Mireille and Chloé would converse in French and not in English.
Today I was nearly fooled by Phades April fools joke. I was wondering about all the strange terms on the site and was close to ask what they mean until I looked at the date.
Some days ago I made an interview with an official German TV station about crime and violence inside the MC scene. They made it because actually there is a process at the highest court yard of my home state against 3 members of a MC who kidnapped a member of another MC and tortured him. The interview lasted 20...30 minutes, and the essence of what I said is that violence and crime are the exceptions, but if it happens the media make a big deal of it so that people that are not familiar with the MC scene get the impression it's the daily business. I didn't watch it myself, because I was at work. But a friend has seen it. All what they took from the whole interview was one sentence, in which I told the the majority of the MC's is non violent. And they used it only for the purpose to claim I'm wrong. Damn Bastards! If I had known this before, I hadn't given that interview.
