Upgrades somtetimes pay out. Today I made most of the clips I need for project "Secret". Only three short clips more to make, from 3 different episodes. Thanks to my processor upgrade I was able to do it. The AVISynth script slows down the encoding of the HuffYUV incredibly. With my old processor I wouldn't have been able to do the half of the jobs I've done. It was really hard. Ripping and indexing 8 episodes and selecting clips from 10. And I made the decision which version of the song to choose. With the concept I have in my mind, I will spent some hours working with GIMP too. With that progress so far I'm confident to finish "Secret" this month. If not, so at least this year.
Doing that amount of work I wasn't able to write the op. So it delays some days more, but I will do it for sure. I promised it, and I keep my promises. Even if it may take some time. -
A new beginning...

...with project "Secret". On sunday I ripped and indexed 3 episodes, and for one I made already clips. I didn't more becauseI used that beautyful day to ride my bike. Who knows when will be the next chance to do that? Tomorrow is a holiday, and the weather forecast says rain. If I can defeat my lazyness, there will be much progress in my preparations. This time I think about making a storyboard to avoid what happened to "Noir-Episode#25" - that I run out of clips during editing and have to think over the whole concept.
The vid for the op I owe from the 500st entry celebration I have downloaded and watched. I think tomorrow I will write the op. Noone applied for the quick comments. The chance is over now. I end this matter. -

Regarding my actual project, I'm still suffering missing motivation. Probably it has to do with concerns about the situation of the company I'm working for. If it should be finished this year, I have to get back my motivation. -

I'll give you a treat. Since 500 hits isn't such a big thing, I decided to give out one free op and two quick comments. PM me a link to the vid's profile. For the op be warned: The scores will be lower than it's usual at the org. I follow the guide to ops, which means average is a 5 or 6. It'll be given on first come first serve base. If you don't want the op, write it in the PM, so the next will get it.
This weekend I got two parcels. The first was my new CPU. Like I expected, in benchmarks it shows twice the power than my old one.With that power I expected that WMP could play DivX files without lags. But it didn't, despite it was using 100% CPU power. For MPlayer the task manager wasn't able to measure the CPU-load, so it showed 0%.
The second was my "surpise box". With the "luck" I mostly have, it was all mobile phone related stuff. Mostly cases, some covers, all for older models. The only thing I could use for me was a headset for Motorola phones. Maybe I will use one of the cases. It doesn't fit 100 percent, but is better than nothing or bying a new one. The rest I try to sell at ebay, but I fear there will be a flood of similar stuff. -

...seems to be mens obsession. Today they offered at ebay "surprise boxes". That boxes are from an insolvency of a computer and mobile phone store. The contents of the box you bid for is unknown, but it is computer or mobile phone related stuff. Can be many things, RAM, harddisks, mainboards, mice, cables, mobile phones, bags, covers and so on. And there are always several items in a box. I followed some auctions, and in one I managed to win with 8.05 Euro (+5.50 Euro S+H). With some luck I get some parts that I need to upgrade my computer. In worst case it's all mobile phone related stuff. But the boxes looked big enough that I not only will get my money back, but will also make some benefit if I sell the things seperatly on ebay.
500 hits at my journal. It's a reason to celebrate. Should think about a treat for you readers. I'll write it here what it will be, but it'll take some time to decide.
