2020 Update, Revisited
2020-10-19 21:42:48
Hey, um, so if you're reading this then that means a couple of ideas have actually taken shape. If these initial projects prove to be productive then there may likely be more coming down the pipe. Tentative plans include scheduling a line up for the coming year, possibly even reviving my old website for 2021. I feel excited about these new projects, and if things progress as they are then I'll be sharing more details in the near future.

2020 Update
2020-10-15 22:29:17
Though I have mentioned it before, I think I may be making a comeback (finally). No certainty yet on whether it will happen before or after the end of 2020. It may take some time to get my head back in the zone, find the right inspiration, and find an appropriate anime and song pairing. Its been so long since I last made any videos that refreshing my memory on how to use the old editing programs has been rather nostalgic. I'm grateful that AMV.org still has the guides and apps for jumping right back into the community. Some of the ideas I had way back when but never got around to will be considered for a possible amv, but recent anime series have been the driving force behind my desire to make a comeback. Perhaps remaking some old vids might also help get me into the swing of things. Again, nothing set in stone yet. I'll announce my actual comeback if and when it comes. Thanks for sticking around.

2020
2019-12-14 19:55:58
The end of 2019 is just around the corner. After all these years, I'm still an anime fan and still checking out new anime music videos when the moment strikes me. I have missed making AMVs - for a long time, too. I've seen a lot of new shows, and listened to a lot of new music in the last few years that inspired me with ideas for new music videos. And not just using anime. But who are we kidding? Anime music videos are gonna be the majority in this regard. Well, anyway, at one point I may have mentioned somewhere here on my profile at AMV.org that I might return to making AMVs after I built my next computer. After a long wait, I've got a good graphics card and a good processor, and I'm ready to make heads or tails of video editing again. It's been quite a while so I'm sure I'm a tad rusty. To help with that, I've decided to use an older video editor so I can go back and learn the basics of editing again. Probably gonna see a rough video or two, if I can manage anything decent. Other than that, if nothing else, I'll still be hanging around now and then just minding my own business while watching anime, listening to tunes, and checking the next best anime music video on YouTube - or right here at AMV.org!

Oh gawd, Here I come again!
2011-04-01 06:05:17
So, like, wasn't I suppose to return to making AMV's last year or something? Apparently I never got around to it. Guess I was busy trying to make ends meet, find a job, pay my bills, advocate certain political agendas/reforms, losing weight, finding a girlfriend, and all while aspiring to save the world...
Okay, that girlfriend part isn't true... I didn't try to find one. Luckily, though, I did get a new job last December! I've bought some more anime and I'm ready to rip and burn to my heart's content. Or so I hope.
Here's some good news, however: I acquired a new desktop with HD capabilities for Xmas last year. Isn't that awesome? Well, maybe for me it is - I have no idea if the resolution will come through during the AMV creative process. But now that I've sated my desire and longing to play some fantastic PC games in stunning HD, I recently regained an interest in AMVs after viewing a few on YouTube and getting myself a copy of FLCL and Evangelion 1.11 (both on Blu-ray)!
Me thinketh I will truly be making an actual comeback. No decision has been made about bringing back my website (but its not out of the question). So here are some new ideas I have.
With the current production of the Rebuild of Evangelion films, I think I will remake my Evandragula video once I have acquired all four movies on Blu-ray (already have one). Also, because of my desire to make yet another FLCL amv, I will be remaking my very first FLCL vid - redone with the stunning capabilities of my dedicated video card and quad-core processor. I will also be remaking my first DBZ amv featured here at AMV.org - but fear not, for I have new video concepts lined up and surely there may be some out there who will find them entertaining.
As always, I will try to recreate my style, using unfamiliar song choices and anime combinations. while also striving to improve the way I put the videos to the music.

Another Return?
2010-05-12 11:41:42
I cannot believe how long I have been away. Two years since my last video and about a year or half a year since I downloaded any videos from here.
But not to worry, I think I might return. Not making any videos has allowed me to think and think and re-think about so many of my ideas that I never got around to two years ago, or last year, and after buying several more anime and music... I think I finally have some ideas worth attempting.
Nothing really to talk about, I'm just announcing my possible consideration of starting a new video. The only problem is whether or not I really wanna use a specific song and whether or not that song is too long (as I am not fond of shortening/editing song length).
Oh well, I guess I will figure it all out after I start ripping and have my clips ready for use. I can't promise anything great, but expect something (now or in the future) with power metal and/or hard rock.
