The game i love

Well my hockey season starts tomorrow, yay. And I’m so excited (*does a little dance*). I’m a bit nervous too (as always), but as soon as my skates touches the ice it goes away. My game is scheduled for 8:30 tomorrow night. And I’ll be in net. Its gonna be a blast. I love to play hockey, it’s my all time favorite sport. I’ve been a fan ever since I can remember, my dad and I would watch all the Montreal Canadians games that aired on the T.V. And every winter my dad would make a rink in our back yard. My bro, sis and our cuz and a few friends (8 of us in all), would play on it every chance we had. I was always the goalie, cause no one wanted to take that position for the reason of no goalie equipment. (And we played with a puck and not a ball). I was always gusty that way. Sure I got hurt, and had my share of bruises, cuts and time to time even a bloody nose. But I loved the game so much that I just shrugged off the pain, wiped away the blood and keeped on playing. We always had a blast, and we would play for hours even on the coldest days and nights. We didn’t really care how cold it was outside, we just wanted to play to game that we love.
Any way I better get back to writing my opinions to all the wonderful AMV’s.

still feeling under the weather

My brain has been pre-occupied with so many things recently, as usual it always feels like a kind of weird catch-up game whenever i sit down to write my opinions to all the wonderful amvs that i download and watch. The list just gets bigger and bigger. But I promised myself that i won't be like one of those members that just downloads and never gives an opinion. I'm going to get them all done even if it kills me. lol
So yeah i'm still not feeling good. i haven't had a decent nights rest since i got sick 10 days ago. This nagging cough keeps me up most of the night. I really hate this dam cold *shakes fist*. It's hard to function properly out there in the world when u basically don't get enough sleep.
Any way I better get back to those opinion.

another sleepless night

I've been feeling under the weather since monday. I caught my sisters cold and boy does it suck. Last night was the worst night ever, i couldn’t stop coughing thus having no sleep what so ever. Oh well that’s life i guess.
Well anyway i got the green light to play hockey this year. yay
I'm really excited about that. But the doctor cautioned me to take it easy for awhile at least. And that i should listen to what my body is telling me. If i feel any pain in my right knee whatsoever that i should stop and take it easy, and not play through the pain (like i usually do lol). She told me that i would do more damage than good in the end.
Anyway i'm heading off to bed again to see if i can get some sleep. dam cold *shakes fit*

Tomorrow morning i have to go to the clinic to have my right knee checked.
I hyper-extended my right knee during a soccer tournament about a month ago. And since then my right knee hasn't felt the same. :( Hockey season is about to start and i don't even know if i'll be able to play this year which really sucks. I just hope that the x-ray will show nothing wrong and get the green light from the doc saying that i can play hockey.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
