Hey no problem kitty15, any time.
Lets see "how can you get to know people on this site" well there's the Forum. the link is located in the blue tabs under the main menu section. There you can meet others by joining discussion groups related to anime and music videos. Another way to find out about anyone is to check out their member profile. Mind you some have nothing written about them selves and like to remain anonymous. Um....i don't know of another way besides those two cause i'm still trying to figure things out myself.
And for your second question on "how on earth can you make a anime music video by yourself?!" Mind you that I'm in the same position as you are in, having never made a video myself. But since we are both members I though that I can pass down what little knowledge that I do have to you. Well you need some kind of video editing software. If you have a Microsoft OS such as XP Pro or Home you should have a program called Windows Movie Maker. Its not the best but its free. Or if you have a Mac you should have either iLife or iMovie on it too. There are even sites that offer a free trial version of their software. for ex: http://www.seriousmagic.com/vcbusvideoprod.cfm but mind you this product is pricey but you can try it for free. Heres another link of some other video editors that you can look into: http://www.pcmag.com/category2/0,1738,4835,00.asp
Another link thats good for finding free or trial versions of any product is: http://www.download.com/
The next step is to import/rip footage from either DVDs, VHS tape (program via firewire or iLink. (Heres a link that you can check out; http://www.tcf.ua.edu/TVCrit/frames02Import.htm its has a frame-grab tutorial for importing analog video into your computer) or if you prefer to download episodes off the internet....(many do that) to your video editor. Then select the clips u'd like to use. Then select a song (music) that matches the pace and energy of all your clips. And also keeping fluid continuity throughout the whole video.
Umm....kitty i hope this helps you a least a little. But hopefully someone else who knows more will take the time and write to u. But in the meantime, if you have any more questions you would like answered just ask by ether email , PM or in your journal. And I'll be glad to answer them. (as best I can anyway lol)
talk to you later ^__^
