hhmm....where to start? ok, for startes I AM IN LOVE WITH THE RUROUNI KENSHIN OVA SOUNDTRACK! with that said, I want to do an amv to EVERY single song ont he soundtrack....but it's damn near impossible with the time on my hands. so I was thinking about making it kinda like the DDR project. I just got the idea and I already did an AMV to "In Memories-A Boy Meets the man" and I already have an idea for a second vid i'm gonna do to the soundtrack.
The rules are simple:
1) Must be a good video editor and must love the rurouni kenshin ova's AND tv series.
2) Must have their own source.
3) Must have some time to work on the project.

anyone can join and it's pretty easy.
I also must see a video before I say they're part of the group. I will give full credit to each individual and their video. I want to premiere the video at a con and i'll put everyones info. Each creator can take ONLY 2 songs. If the creator feels 2 is too much, then he can pass the second one onto a friend with skills or just pic 1 song.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that you can use both the tv series and ova footage.
all videos will have no bumber. the only bumber there will be is the intro to the groups name in genereal and at the beginning of each vid, the creator will put their name and title blah blah at the corner of the video to prevent any confusion. -

GREAT NEWS FOR ME! I have finally won my very first amv award. I recieved the best Instrumental Award at www.mindwarpet.com
This is truly a happy day for me. I never though I had a chance, but anything is possible ^_^ I worked on this video for about 1 month (not counting the couple of months I spent time off because of my shitpaq. It was screwing up on me) So I want to thank Carlos and the whole MindWarp team! THANK YOU!!
- ... 2001-11-30 16:47:12 Well, I was about to throw my current video into the failed experiments bin until my good friend, and webmaster-dbfreek- told me I was nuts if I threw it away. I send him a clip of what I had done and he really boosted my confidence for that vid. And since then, i've been workin' hard and I must say the video is lookin' good. I'm trying to avoid using Fight scenes...but the song isn't helping any. I mean the song is pretty damn heavy and when it kicks in....it's like ARG!!! So I figured I could manipulate the scenes so they can actually make sense like in my Memories vid. If all goes well.....it wont just end up being another Action/Blood amv done to Berserk because I really want to stay away from that as much as possible. Anywho, i'm off to work on it now.

Well, i'm still alive and kickin'!
now on to the really important stuff......
The status of my Berserk Video "Chains of Fate":
I started editing a couple of days ago, but I seem to be pretty burned out from Memories and Ihaven't been doing my best. It's about 20% done and I haven't worked on it for a week. I'm giving myself time to get back into the mood of making amv's. If I force myself it's gonna come out like shit. I've recently been getting awesome ideas for it and I should start editing again this week.
Memories:
As you all know I kinda improved my Memories video, BUT it's not getting a net release. 3 reasons for this.
1) I keep getting problems after problems when I export. I fix the problems....then more seem to make their way. It pisses me off.
2) I wanted to release it before the Mindwarp contest and it seems I prolly wont make it. It would be pointless to have them judge the old video...so i'm just let the touch up slide and let the old one get pumeled. I REALLY want to release the new version though and if some miracle happens.....the new version will see the light of day before the contest.
3) My DSL has been very screwy lately. It tends to kick me off after a couple of minutes. It seems to be workin' fine right now and i've been using it for a couple of hours....and I hope it stays this way.
well, aside from all the amv stuff, I have other problems. Internet Explorer doesn't seem to be workin' on this comp.....Dunno why, but everytime I enter an URL int he address bar, it doesn't load it. I dl the latest upgrades for it and it doesn't work. So I pretty much had to keep on changing the home page everytime I wanted to visit another site and hit the home button. (VERY annoying)So I was left with no choice but to dl Netscape *shivers*
Netscape is workin' fine and is actually not as bad as older versions so it's all good for me right now.
well anywho, enough of my ranting.
- finished! 2001-11-18 22:45:43 finally finished preparing the source for the Chains of Fate. I'm too damn tired to get started though. It took most of the day and I just wanna rest now. I can't think correctly and I don't have much patience right now either. So, tomorrow is the big day when I finally start Chains of Fate. for those of you who don't know, it' a Berserk video...and just to let everybody reading this know....I'm not gonna use Fighting scenes...well I am...maybe 4 the most but very quckly..just to prove a point.
