computer problems
2005-12-04 22:16:28
Captain's log, stardate 2005.338: I have reason to believe that a keylogger on my computer. What makes me say this, you ask? Because, in Windows Task Manager, Windows Explorer, referred to in that application as explorer.exe, is using MUCH more memory than it should, and my CPU usage is at 100%. These keyloggers are crafty little things, but Michael C. Spadaro is craftier. I will beat them.

Captain's log, stardate 2005.329: Well, my first AMV is finally done and available for download. I'm kin of surprised that no one has left an opinion on it yet. Oh well.
Earlier, I had to go pick up a pizza that my mom ordered for dinner. By itself, not really noteworthy, except that I DID learn something on the way there, and it was reinforced on the way back: heated steering wheels are a good thing. Too bad my car doesn't have one. Waaaaahhhhhh!! But on second thougtht, I'd rather have a HEMI.

AMV progress
2005-11-18 21:17:01
Captain's log, stardate 2005.322: I've made significant progress on my first AMV, "Eva In The Mirror", a look at what the opening of Neon Genesis Evangelion might be like in the "Mirror Universe" from Star Trek. It's about 70-75% done, as I have to download episodes of Eva in order to get footage from them. Not real proud of that, but until my computer is refitted with a DVD drive (preferably, a DVD-RW drive; currently, I have a CD-RW drive), that is what I must do.

History in the making
2005-10-27 00:13:25
Captain's log, stardate 2005.299: Something I never thought I'd live to see has happened: a Chicago baseball team has won the World Series. After 88 long years, the White Sox have claimed the World Series again. Chicago hasn't had much to be proud of from its teams in the last few years. Now we have something to be proud of.

hurricane coverage & AMV progress
2005-10-20 20:40:49
Captain's log, stardate 2005.293: Yet another hurricane is heading for the Southern states. The name of this one, though, is irking me. Wilma. WHY did they pick that name? I know that Wilma is a Spanish name (or so my mom tells me), but ask most Americans what they think of when they hear the name "Wilma", and they'll probably say, "Fred Flintstone's wife". So WHY did they name a hurricane after Fred Flintstone's wife?!?!
On a different note, I've made some progress on my first AMV. I haven't come up with a name yet, but I'm leaning towards "Eva in the mirror" or something like that.
