  • Just got back from school 2003-06-25 23:10:11 Tough day. School was exhausting. I spent the whole day, but only did stuff for the first half. I went to lunch and then went back to the school, I decided not to walk the rest of the way home, becaus eI would die in teh heat. We were told it was about 41°C with the humidty included! Like, that is totally nuts. -_-

    So I got back and sat around and talked to some people in the front of the school. Of course, I was the only person to take the bus when the finally came to swing by the school. I think only about 10 people in the entire school stuck around for the busses. lol

    I cooled off and just hung around at home for the afternoon. Since I knew I had to go back by 6:00pm, I didn't do anything special. I took a shower, and got dressed up. I need black pants and a black shirt. Well, I found some, but some stuff was too tight and the sort. To think, too tight on me! Mr. size 28 waist and such. -_- But at the same time they were too long. Talk about bizarre... Anyways, I got some of my dad's stuff. A little too wide for me, but no problem. A simple belt helped. lol

    Won't go through the whole night, but in general it went by like this. I sorted panphlets, I stuck outside working as a parking attendant for a bit (in boiling sun), cooled off, grabbed a bite to eat, set up tables, set up food, and watched the very ending of the ceremonies. The validvictorian was my friend's older sister. She is a very good speaker.

    And then I got home pretty late. So here I am. Time for bed so as I can be rested to do all this over again tomorrow. I mean the night at least. ~_^

  • One last day of school 2003-06-25 06:36:33 Today is exam review day. I get to go to school for a day and find out how poorly I did on my exams, how fun. At least I get to see most of my friends one last time before the summer. That's pretty much the only reason I'm going. ~_^

    I never found any answers for my questions about Evangelion last night. Partly because my computer was taken from me for a large portion of the night. My uncle came over and needed. Why? I have no idea! There was 2 other perfectly fine computers he could use, so why mine? -_- Oh well, it will be even more satisfying when I do figure it out! ^_^

    I was asked by a friend of mine to volunteer tonight and tomorrow night at the graduation ceremonies for our school. She said it was 2 nights, and I was a bit confused. But I remembered that this was the last year Ontario was having OAC (grade 13), so therefore the grade 12 and OAC would be graduating. For those who don't know, they call this the double cohort year. Why? Because it means TWICE as many people will graduate and TWICE as many people will apply to Universities this year. This has got to be the worst for those applying. Anyways, I'm rambling here, and I don't have the time for it today. Like I said, 2 nights, 2 graduations for 2 years. That means I'm booked for now. Oh well, what can I say? Who can turn down a pretty face?

    Actually, I'm not done all my community service hours, so this could actually help me in a way too. ^_^

    So I made a guess appearance you could say, right? Helping out finding a lost dog... sounds like fun! But no reward is needed, I'd never been able to take that much money for something like that. lol

  • Finished up Evangelion, again 2003-06-24 18:44:47 I'm still having trouble grasping the last 2 episodes. I can get what's going on, and the feelings that must be floating around, but how it's happening still bugs me. I've read many reviews about it, but they don't seem shed any light on my confusion.

    Here's something I just read, that the whole series took place in Shinji's head, and that he was just remembering it all. We join back to the present in the last episode... That could make sense, but confuses me more.

    One thing that some places lack is mentionning that it's 2 year later (2016 AD), I remember seeing it at the beginning of the episode, I just didn't pay attention to it.

    I just want to know why it's all happening. People keep saying that it's the Human Instrumentality Project that happening. My question: how? People just don't begin becoming complete out of thin air. Someone said that the whole happens in his mind, but what's frustrating is that we're unable to see what's going on with the rest of the world.

    I've read so many palces that it would take pages to accurately summarize the last 2 episodes. Well, I'd be more than happy to read pages and pages worth of explanations if I had a clearer idea. lol

    Oh ya, didn't do much today. Hung out with some friends and that's all. But tonight I promised to finish a web banner for someone, so I'll be working on that. Doesn't help that I've got Evangelion on the brain now. -_-

  • So cute is crowd pleasing? 2003-06-23 21:27:18 My newest banner = 110 votes. That's the highest I've ever gotten. And guess what? That's my first non-Evangelion banner. That's kind of depressing, but at the same time refreshing. At least I have an idea of what people like. ~_^

    Correction from my last entry, it was "Collection 0:7" not "Operation 0:7". I keep mixing those up.

    I feel very uninspired right now. I would say depressed, but I think I'm giving myself too much credit for that. It's such a quiet and solitary feeling. It makes me feel jealous of so many people. Not jealous as in hate, but more of a longing... lol weird.

    I've got some stuff to do before going to sleep. So I'll go do that now, and get some rest later. ^_^

  • I jinxed it! 2003-06-23 10:13:45 "I hope we all have a good night's sleep"

    What was I thinking?! I totally jinxed it. It took me forever to fall asleep because my knees were killing me. Then, I woke up 3 hours later (4:00 am) for no reason at all. I tried to fall back asleep, and ended up dazing in and out of sleep for the next hour and 45 minutes. Next I DID fall asleep, only to get waken up by my alarm in an hour. Fun is fun I guess. ~_^

    The proposal wasn't too hard. It just took a long time. I saw some peopel finish when I was only half done. I sighed and pushed forward. I used the entire period, so there was no problems. Hopefully I'll get a good mark on Wednesday. ^_^

    I'm going to relax the res of the day. Maybe a bit of forumming, some tv and food. I'll probably watch the 7th DVD of Evangelion too (Operation 0:7). Later.
