  • Nothing like being impulsive... 2003-08-19 22:48:05 I was just sitting down to use my computer, being lazy, dressed in my tracksuit and thinking about tomorrow (sounds like Miyazawa from Kare Kano, and I was wearing my glasses too!). Then I hear my name being called from upstairs. I wonder what's going on. I go upstairs and find out a friend of mine is over asking if I want to go play some cards.

    I dash downstairs, jump into some shorts and a t-shirt, grab my wallet and keys, and I'm gone.

    Came back 3 hours later. Normally they call me before to see if I want to play, but he said he didn't have my number, so he just popped by. I'm the kind of person who likes to over think things, so making a decision that quick is something I'm not used to. lol But I'm glad I did it, we had a good time. ^_^

    Anyways, time to sleep. I"m not allowed to eat anything past midnight until my appointment, not even drink some water. Oh well, I'll just have to knaw on something. lol

  • I'm all ready for tomorrow... 2003-08-19 17:43:04 I rented 6 DVDs, got my music, got my books, and set out all my stuff. Why? Because I'm getting my Wisdom Teeth pulled out tomorrow morning! This means 2-3 days of being able to do nothing but watch tv, or so I've heard.

    Anyways, since I knew the next few days would be boring, I went biking around town today. I went to the mall, video store, some game shops... And it was actually pretty hot today. All I know is that I'm exhausted and that's about all I can handle. lol

    I made another new sig, this one smaller than my previous new ones. It's 100 pixels tall by 400 pixels wide. Though I just feel there's something missing about it... Maybe I'll change the quote or something on it.

    I took this free Nintendo Summer 2003 booklet I saw at the mall. Definitely impressive. I'm looking forward to a lot of those games. They even had an article on Fire Emblem, a game that was only released in Japan, but sparked interest when characters like Marth and Roy made their debut on SSBM. ^_^

    I can't wait until September! DragonBall makes it's return back to YTV (the only channel that really shows any anime in Canada, other than Teletoon). I remember watching it something like 8 years ago! But at least now I'm developed a taste for it, so I'm sure to enjoy it a bit more. lol

  • It's an expensive addiction... 2003-08-18 12:13:38 I think I'll take up smoking and drinking.

    Then I'll quit anime.

    I'll probably have more money left over than I've ever had before.

    I'm not used to seeing these high prices. My eyes hurt. The other day I was in Indigo books, and saw a boxed set of Fushigi Yuugi (4 DVDs). I checked the price and saw $300! I thought it was a mistake, but something in the back of my mind told me it was true. Anyways, I asked, just incase. The cahier's eyes went wide eyed at her screen and said, yes, it was the true price. That's when I put it back on the shelf. lol

    I'm telling you, smokers and alcoholics have it easy. At least they HAVE extra money to blow on that kind of stuff!

    Shinji is 14...
    I'm going to be 17...

    When I first learned about Shinji (Evangelion) and began being able to relate to him, I was the same age as him. I was 14. It's been so long since then...

    There's nothing like just realizing that you may lose someone very close to you.

    He's been me, and I've been him. Sometimes I feel like we're one and the same.

    I guess when I think about, age is just a number... But still, it just hit me, and it was like a realization about how long it's been. I'll soon be too old to even relate to him...

  • It's the 17th! My fav number... 2003-08-17 08:34:10 Not much is going on. Internet has been crazy ever since that power outage. A lot of sites don't seem to work, and others are just fine. I'm just glad the Org is working now, as well as Hotmail. ^_^

    Tomorrow I need to go in to the Dentist for him to check out my teeth. I might need to get my Wisdom Teeth pulled out. Never mind, make that I'm going to get them pulled out. He's just doing this pre-examanation, and they get yanked out on Wednesday. That means I won't be able to do much for a few days. -_-

    I have a new goal, to beat Zelda: The WindWaker before my birthday (Aug. 31). I don't think I can do it, but I'm definitely going to try. I'll probably play it all of the 30th. Because you know me, it'd be just like school, and I'll leave it all to the last day! lol

    Yesterday I watched two tapes worth of shows I had missed for the last few weeks. I hadn't had a chance to catch up in awhile, so I grabbed this opportunity. Well, I think I still have an episode of Digimon (season 4) to get done, then who knows what I'll do for the rest of the day. Maybe review an AMV... 0_0 <- Haven't reviewed one in maybe a month.

    Oh, and by the way, I just wanted to say "hi Chenny!", incase she ever reads this. lol
