Quiet day...
2003-09-19 21:34:13
Hurricane Isabel was supposed to go through here today. I knew it wasn't going to be a real hurricane by time it got here, but I was hoping for a nice storm. Unfortunetely all we got was a little rain. That's a little depressing, because I went outside in the rain to move all the patio furniture and everything incase it got a little windy. -_-
:: InuYasha comes on tv ::
Perfect timing! ^_^ Hmm... I have to admit, InuYasha reminds me more of a cat than a dog, but hey, I'm not the creator here.
I've spent practically the whole day watching television. I guess I was really tired. At one point I even stopped just to lie on the couch and started day dreaming. I think I then fell asleep for a few minutes, luckily not too long. lol Funny how everytime you watch the same episode, there always seems to be another scene that's totally new. Weird thing is, I'm absolutely sure that it's not just because I missed it the first time. I think it has something to do with where commercials are placed in the episode.
Whenever I'm typing, I almost always get the "ng" mixed up as "gn" in words like "watching, moving, running..." Anything that ends with "ing". It's really weird, so I always have to keep backspacing and fixing it. It's nothing important, but I've been noticing as of late. I wonder why that's my most frequent typing mistake out of all the combination... o_0
Did I mention I'm starting to feel a little sick in another entry? Well anyways, I'm not feeling 100%. I think I'm getting a cold, my throat is sore, I'm tired, I've had a runny nose, and today I'm starting to cough. You know what's ironic? I think it's because of all the time I've been walkign to school. The thing I started doing to make myself feel better is now making me sick. Why would it make me sick you ask? I bet it's because it's pretty chilly that early in the morning, so in other words, a 45 minute walk in the cold could affect your health. Talk about stupid. -_-

Looks don't matter? Ya right...
2003-09-18 18:35:12
This should be a nice weekend. It's three days long because tomorrow is a PA Day, so no school. ^_^
:: goes to eat dinner ::
Ok, I'm back.
I was just teaching my grand mother how to use a computer. You've got to have a lot of patience to try and teach a 70 year old how to use a computer for the first time. But she did very well. Click and scroll, click and scroll. That was the lesson for today. ~_^
In my opinion, my painting turned out awful. I didn't do what I had wanted, and I'm not satisfied at all with the result. But like I keep saying, I don't hate my painting, I hate myself. The painting's not at fault, it's the creator's, who's me. -_-
Ok, I'm having a lot of trouble believing sooooo many people in the world don't care about looks, and only think personality matters. I for one make it half and half. Both are equally important, who are you to say differently? I care about looks, I admit it. Outer beauty and inner beauty make a whole, one is incomplete without the other. I just don't understand it when people call others shallow for admiring beauty. It doesn't work if she's (he's) a pretty face who you can't stand, and it doesn't work if it's great being with her (him), but you can't get close to them. Anyways, I think looks matter, to a certain degree of course. And remember, everyone has different tastes, so what's attractive to me, may not be attractive to you. Oh well, maybe I'm one of the only shallow people left in the world, or maybe it's that I'm one of the only honest people left in the world, it's your call.

Lots of work tonight, better get cracking...
2003-09-17 18:25:27
I have to hurry and finish my painting, study for a test, do my homework, and read a few chapters in a book tonight, so I'm not exactly going to be too careful about spelling and all that nonsenes.
I'm definitely not cut out for the tennis team. There are 4 available spots for seniors to join, and 8 seniors competing for those spots. I'm definitely the worst one out there. I'm average, but all these guys are awesome. They can smash, lob, and can ace a serve easily. Well, at least it was funt to play for a bit.
I'm coming down with a cold because of all the walking to school I've been doing. Well, at least I suspect that this is the reason. It's a good guess because it's freezing every morning, but then hot every afternoon. So I never know what to wear. -_-
:: gasp ::, she talked to me today! (I should start being careful about how much I keep saying because I'm getting a little too far into my personal life now... Oh well, I already started.) She came over, stood in front of me when I was working on my painting, and said "Hi!". I was just like "... ummm ... Hi!". She needed to borrow my ruler for a few minutes. So I pulled it out, and handed it to her. I was listening to my portable CD player at the moment (which is totally new for me), so she asked what I was listening to. I explained that it was a burnt CD, but the current song was "Tomorrow - SR-71". She looked so surprised, and said "You like that kind of music too?!". We chatted for a few moments, then she went to work on her project. Do you really think I was able to concentrate on my work after that? =^_^= lol
You know what I've come to realize, I talk a lot to people, but never start the conversations. My friends on MSN Messenger wouldn't be surprised by hearing that little comment. lol But I'm serious. I noticed that today. Whenever I was doing something alone, someone always seemed to come up to me, and we'd talk for a bit. Happened on my way in the school. Happened once I got in. Happened during my free period first thing in the morning. Happens all the time in Art. Doesn't happen in Data Management or French, but yes in Physics. I was just really surprised when I realized that because I normally think of myself as a "lone wolf" kind of person, but I guess it's not exactly true.
Well, I've poured out my soul long enough. Got to go. Bye bye!

My brother's birthday...
2003-09-16 19:28:03
Yup, my little brother just turned 15!!! But he's just as annoying. ~_^ I got him a wrestling DVD, and a nice "suggestive" card. lol I knew he's get a good laugh.
School has been... well, school! Lots of homework. I still need to work on my painting. It's due Thursday. Oh dear (trying not ti say anything rude)! I have Tennis practice tomorrow after school, that means I'll have to do a good chunk of my project tonight. -_- This is so not good. I should really learn to come up with my project ideas a lot faster. Instead of leaving a couple of days to go from start and finish. -_-
I was so happy today (well at least at one point)! You that girl in Art I talk about once in awhile? Well, she got up to get something from the storage closet, and when going back to her seat, he caught eachother's glaze. We both smiled, in a sort of cute/shy way. I doubt she thought anything of it, but for me that right there made my day. There's just nothing more beautiful than a woman's smile. =^_^=
I was so close to buying a GameBoy SP/Final Fantasy Tactics combo today, but I told myself that would be selfish. I can't go out and buying something so big and nice on my borther's birthday! It's unthinkable in my opinion. So, I left it for another day. Maybe next week... lol

The unexpected...
2003-09-15 17:20:35
On Saturday I went out to dinner with my grandparents. My grandfather always has classical music playing when he's driving. I made a comment to my grandparents about how I like classical music, so I always enjoyed riding in their car. Next thing I know, my grandfather showed up today and said he bought me a few CDs. I definitely wasn't expecting that! It was really kind of him. So that's what I have playing right now, a CD of "Beethoven's best". It's relaxing.
How about this for unexpected, last night I was channel surfing, and stumbled upon Hello Kitty. I started watching, and enjoyed it so much! I remember the show so many years ago, so I forgot some channels still play it. Anyways, great show! So cute and just plain fun! ^_^
It's been raining all day. I normally like the rain, but I had to carry too many things today, so it was quite uncomfortable. Luckily I was able to keep my painting dry. Phew!
My parents seem to be doing well. They are enjoying themselves in Mexico. My dad's been golfing, and my mother's been to the spa. They say they're already burnt after one day in the sun. lol
