JOURNAL: Anime Jedi

  • A full day out, and an empty wallet... 2003-11-29 02:05:34 I got home around 12:30am, watched Samurai Jack, two episodes of Inuyasha, some bits of Speed Racer, took a shower and am now browsing on the site for HMV, checking out all the new anime, and what they have for sale. So much new stuff!!! ^_^ But because it's mostly new, there's no AMVs on most of this stuff on this site. I suppose it's just too new, and for someone to want to make an AMV about it, they have had to know quite a bit about it. -_-

Today was very busy. I got picked up around 11:00am, and four of us drove down to the Finch subway station. We took the subway to dowtown Toronto, to go shopping at the Eaton's centre. Unfortunately one of the girls with us (not the birthday girl) had to go home early, so we came back around 5:00pm.
Once back in our home town, we checked in with the birthday girl's family. They said that she wasn't allowed to go out to dinner with us (she was needed for a family dinner), but could still come out and see a movie. So my friend and I went out together and met up with another girl at Laser Quest. We explained that the other two girls couldn't make it, and we now wondered if it was worth it to play at Laser Quest just the three of us. Ultimately we decided against it, and just ate at Pizza Hut.
After eating, we went back home, and picked up the birthday girl again. On our way to the theatre, we stopped at this huge one night sale. Unfortunately, we ended up being very late for the movie. Another friend who we were meeting there, got upset for us being late, and went home. I have a feeling she was really hurt. We actually still made it in time for the movie, but there was nothing we could now do. Our first choice, Master and Commander, was just starting, so instead we decided to slow things down and check out Gothika.
Once that was over, we returned home safely and all was well I hope it was a good birthday day for her. Not to mention it rained all morning, and snowed all afternoon and night. I think it only stopped around 2:00am.

And that was my day, with no detail whatsoever! :: sigh ::

Maybe I'll talk about that another time. As for tonight, a few new AMVs, and some needed sleep.

  • Always pushing the limits... 2003-11-27 23:56:02 You know how I like to procrastinate, just like last night? I made it to 2:30am until I actually did some work on the that little project. Finished up around 4:00am, and got a good 3 hours of sleep. I still think that was pretty dumb on my part, but I just couldn't work on it when I had the time.

I went out to play cards tonight, but we ended up coming back over here to play. We were going to play some N64 at his house, but he lacked an expansion pack, so we couldn't get 4 players on Perfect Dark. So we went to my house to play some GameCube. I need to get some more multi-player games because I have great single player stuff, but not much else.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow. ^_^

I have an idea that this weekend will be long when it comes to my Art sculpture I need to do. -_-

I think this girl, who's a year younger than me, that I met at a party last week was hitting on me today in the halls. I stumbled into her between classes. It's just something about the way she talks to you. She looks at you so intently, and doesn't take her eyes off you. Then she does the "acts all cute" thing and introduces you to all of her friends. Of course, I hope I am interpreting this wrong, because I doubt I can live up to the standards she thinks I'm capable of.

I wish Clara the best of luck with getting her forum back up as soon as possible on the new domain thanks to Rei_Zero! ^_^

  • Injury is imminent... 2003-11-26 19:07:41 My body feels so trashed. I just don't get it. My hips were hurting after receiving a good two games ago, and I pulled my groin last game. Then I pushed myself hard in my workout. I have a feeling I'm going to injure myself tonight at hockey (10:00pm game, pretty late huh). Well, I suppose I'm only asking for it. lol Sounds like fun!

I should be working on my project, but you know me! Procrastinator extraordinaire! Not something I should be proud of, of course. ~_^

Friday should be fun. It's a day off from school, so we're going downtown for this girl's birthday. We'll probably spend the day shopping, and then go out to dinner later that night. Should be a full day. ^_^

I better log off now, or else I'll never get to my project. -_-

  • Other people are weird... 2003-11-25 22:30:55 I was in a really lousy mood this afternoon, but luckily I held off making a journal entry. Good thing because I had nothing good to write, except to vent about nothing. lol

Right now, I'm watching a lot of the older vids I have on my computer stuffed away places. It's always nice to reminisce once in awhile. Not to mention a few of them are really good! ^_^

I know I've mentionned this before, but am I supposed to be some sort of "stand-in" guy? I'm in class with my headphones on, working on my painting, the guy in fron of me says "Why don't you go to Semi with Kevin?". I pretended I couoldn't hear, so I kept working. They ALL looked at me, and I kept staring at my page. She says "Ya, but I can't. He's already going". Then they continued their conversation. That was a little odd don't you think?

What about this one? At the art-a-thon, a friend of mine took my picture when I had a paper cup in my mouth, posing as a bird. He took that picture and sent some copies of it to his friends!!! Some who live really far away too! Next day he tells me a friend of his says I'm cute and wants to "sleep" with me. o_0 He says she's really hot too. I'm just like "I don't care! What in the world are you doing sending my pic to people on the other side of the world?!?!". -_-

Anything to pass the time, right? lol

  • I wasn't going to make an entry... 2003-11-23 20:47:04 ...but I couldn't pull myself away from it. lol

It makes me think of the time Sarah offered me a code for a LiveJournal. I was a little confused on the concept, and still am. I guess a person needs some sort of code from a current member in order to become a member themselves. Though I did decline her generous offer for some reason. I wonder why. Oh ya, because I wanted to start spending less time on the internet. Sounds like a pretty lame excuse. -_-

Well, change of plans for Semi-Formal. The girl I was planning on going with said she couldn't go due to work. Odd because she was the one who asked me. I didn't really mind though, because now I get to go with the girls that the day before I had to turn down. They seemed really excited when I asked if they still had room at their table the next day. My only problem though is that one of my best friends don't plan on going. Whenever we go out, it's always him and I, and a whole bunch of girls (it's nothing special, it's just the way that that group of friends is made). But if he's not going, I'm kinda going to be alone. I hope he changes his mind.

Initial D = great anime. I got the second DVD in the series the other day, and was able to watch it today. These computer generated car races are starting to finally grow on me. The first time I had ever seen it, I hated it, but it balances it now. ^_^
