  • Sandals and snow do not mix... 2004-01-20 22:56:02 I went back to my wearing sandals to go to hockey. It wasn't too bad, except for the waiting part outside for my ride. Almost froze my toes off during that time. But it was all worth it because the cool air felt so great on my way back from hockey. Unlike those big boots of mine.

    I tried to catch the puck out of the air from a shot, and instead got it nailed into my forearm. Talk about painful! There's not much of a mark, but my left are feels useless. Hope it heals fast. -_-

    So many vids to check out to properly nominate vids for the VCAs. I'm not even half way there yet. But I should be done in time for the dead line! ^_^

    Exams start tomorrow!!! Luckily I don't have English this semester, so I'm free for the day. Guess I should take advantage of this time and study a bit. lol

  • Review, review, review... 2004-01-19 23:44:28 And not only for the exams! I spent most of tonight browsing through the sections anf putting in my votes for nominations for the Viewer's Choice Awards. I went through about 5 sections. That still leaves a lot left. It's quite exhasuting work having to read through so many titles and creators to see if you find any you remember.

    I played some Mario Kart: Double Dash today. Great game. Pretty simple to get a hang of, but the "fire weapon" button is still taking me some time to get used to, since you have to hold down the "acceleration" and press the "fire" at the same time with the same finger. -_-

    All these animes about couples who have grown up together as friends are starting to get to me. It's just so cute and lovely, like Mizuiro. Sigh ...too many lovy animes out there.

    It's already pretty late. Better get some sleep. By the time I'm asleep, it'll be 1:00am easy. And yes, I'm still sleep on the ground. Haven't yet figured out a way to stay sitting up all night (always wake up lying on the ground instead of sitting up leaning on the wall). Maybe tonight will be different. ~_^

  • An anime filled day... 2004-01-17 22:40:11 So many new banners as usual. Some are good, but none are great. I just want for someone to spend time making one great banner, instead of 10 average ones. Yes, I practice what I preach. Anyways, I should just drop the subject. Before long, I'll start sounding like a bitter old man! ~_^

    I saw Armitage Dual Matrix this afternoon. It's pretty cool as a solo movie. The concept was interesting and the voice acting was good. I didn't like some of the 3D animation though. Like when the helicopter hit the side of a building, the breaking glass couldn't have looked anymore awful. All in all though, still a nice anime.

    Then I bought Red Hawk and Amon Saga. Did you know Red Hawk doesn't even have multiple languages of subtitles?! Definitely missing key components of a DVD. Both are average anime movies, considering they're pretty old. Just something to add to my collection I suppose.

    Did you know the very first episode of Berserk is basically the last one as well? I'm not positive yet since I haven't seen the whole series (only the first 6 DVDs), but it's definitely the future. It's Guts in the kingdom of Midland wanting to fight Griffith. Sounds interesting considering that the rest of the series is based on Guts serving Griffith and the band of the Hawk, right?

    Right now I'm watching the second DVD in the Argentosome series. Though I doubt I'll be able to finish it tonight. All this watching television can be quite warry. lol

  • Exams just around the corner... 2004-01-15 22:09:34 It's the most talked about topic as of right now. People discussing what's on the agenda this weekend, and studying for exams seems to come up pretty often. I suppose it's only right, since they start on Wednesday of next week. o_0

    I realized one of the reasons why I was doing so poorly at the beginning of the school year. I didn't concentrate during class. Instead, I daydreamed about heroic adventures and cute girls. Seriously, I'm not even kidding around here. I noticed this today, when I got bored and started thinking about what if I had a relationship with one of my teachers. Dirty? Yes, but this teenage mind can't help it when you're teacher is very attractive. Anyways, after a few minutes, I stopped and realized I had no idea what was going on in class. This where I finally clued in. THIS was the reason why I wasn't doing well in the beginning of the year. Because I have to admit, these were exactly the kinds of things I was thinking about back then. I musn't have had a lot of will power. -_-

    I over did my workout on Monday night, and my knuckles were all black and blue. My left one is ok now, but my right one is still in pain. We'll find out tomorrow if it can handle another beating. lol

    Hmmm... I'm starting to like this as sleeping habits. Sleep a few hours at night, do my regular day thing, sleep after school for an hour or more, then have dinner, homework, workout and repeat the whole process. I bet if my parents found out, they'd disapprove though. That's unfortunate. ~_^

  • Distracted by confusion... 2004-01-14 22:22:55 I'm trying to work on a Data Management (Math) project. Since our teacher likes these things done in steps, I only have to finish the last part up. My problem though is that I've somehow lost the information from my previous steps. This could make this last part a lot harder.

    It was extremely cold today. And as usual, me being the stubborn type, refused to get picked up from my father. So I walked. Probably took me about an hour because of the snow, and the cold. I have to admit, at certain points, I was considering to stop somewhere and call him before I got frostbite. But I made it, with all my fingers and toes still intact. I think my face was a little burned though from the wind (a little too cold).

    Lately I've been acting really odd, and have been sleeping on the floor. Don't ask me why, but I've done it everyday for about 3 nights, and don't plan on stopping yet. Actually, I want to try and sleep like Kenshin (against a wall), but in reality it's quite exhausting to do that, and I find myself sprawled out on the floor where it's not as much work when I wake up. lol

    Argh, I don't feel like working, but I have to finish it tonight because I'm saving tomorrow morning for studying for my Physics test which is the period after my presentation. -_-
