  • It's time for that change... 2004-03-03 03:37:41 I think I've found what I'm goingo to change in my life, my already disfunctional sleeping habit! Only this time it'll be a little weirder so I'm not sure how it's going to work out. My new plan is to go to sleep around 9:30pm every night (Whoa!), but wake up approxiamately at 3:30am to make up that time. No loss of sleep! It just means I have to do my homework either earlier now, or on the same day it's due. In my opinion doing it the same day worries me, because if I'm not done, I'm screwed, but at least this way, I'll be refreshed, and not falling asleep at my desk asearly as midnight. I wonder how long will I be able to get away with this little schedule. o_0

What's the most perfect thing about waking up at this hour? The only shows worth watchign during the day all play within 3:30am to 5:00am! They're all repeats from earlier in the day, which is great so this way I don't miss a beat. Yu-Gi-Oh!, DragonBall, CardCaptors... Usually these shows are all spread out during the day, but now they all play at the same time. Talk about efficiency! ^_^

Our programming team at school doesn't seem to be looking very well. I have a feeling we're going to bomb in the competition on Friday. -_-

Remake of Red and Blue for GBA?!?! (Pokémon)
    Harvest Moon?!?!
    Pokémon Coloseum?!?!
    Zelda Bnous Disk?!?!
    New Star Fox?!?!
    Tales of Symphonia?!?!
    Mario Tennis?!?!
    One Piece for GBA?!?!

Damn... even though I consider myself a person who doesn't feel pressured to go buy all the new games... My list is getting a bit too big for my liking. I already have at least 10 GC games. :: sigh :: Advertising really does work. lol

  • A lifestyle change is in order... 2004-03-01 18:54:57 I haven't done my workout in at least a week and a half. Ever since I had to run the beep test, I took a few days off to recuperate and haven't been motivated enough to restart ever since. I also stopped a bit so the bruising on my hands could heal, but since they still seem a little sore, I'm not going to bother to keep waiting. Maybe once I get the majority of these University things out of the way, I'll restart by jogging in the mornings.

Nothing too exciting happened today. I had the usual amount of school work to do, plus I stayed after school to practice for the upcoming computer programming competition. By the way things are going, I have a feeling that our team will have to practice very often.

Tonight I'm going to assemble my portfolio for the most part. Tomorrow my teacher said he'll offer some help for me, and see what I should add to it ot take out, so I need it completed for him. Which is good because I needed a deadline in order to get me moving.

  • Next two weeks shall be busy... 2004-02-29 21:22:54 Tomorrow is my father's birthday. I haven't had much time, but I think I'll make something tonight. No clue as of what yet, but hopefully an idea will pop into my head soon.

Star Wars: Episode 1 is on tv right now, and from watching it, I remembered a few thigns about it. One is that the effects were mostly amazing, except for a few parts. The next is that for the most part, the acting was pretty bad. I don't think Anakin or Padme had a clue about what they were doing. I just loved the enthusiasm and expression in their voices [SARCASM]. Anyways, it was still a decent movie.

Today was a very lazy day. I read this book of essays for English class, and spent the morning playing Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance. Once oyu start playing that game, it keeps you busy for a few hours easy. I slept for a couple of hours in the afternoon, and woke up just in time for hockey though without dinner. Well, we finally won too. Good thing, because I think out team was pretty annoyed with losing. lol

Right now, I'm a little stuck between two trains of thought. One is that 17 is past the best years of my life, and the other is that my best years are still ahead of me. Ok, I totally realize that most of you probably think this is THE stupidest thing someone could agonize over, but I suppose I never did say I was normal. lol Anyways, I'm assuming the only reason I think I'm already too old is because of anime. Damn it with their main characters around 15 years old. :: shakes fist :: That, and the idea that as one ages, they lose their innocence. Which kinda scares me considering that I hold innocence so highly compared to most other attributes. Hum Bug... I've lived a fifth of my life, and I'm already worried about way too many things. Hmmm... a fifth of my life... that really puts things into retrospective. 0_0

  • A little brief about everything... 2004-02-28 01:08:49 I'm starting to think I like taking baths. It's so relaxing. I could just lie in that water all night, only problem is that the water gets cold, and I get wrinkly. lol Anyways, I don't take them to get clean, just to unwind every once in awhile. ^_^

Today was another unproductive day. I was exhausted at school, so when I got home I slept for a couple of hours. Then I played video games for the rest of the night. Well, at the very least I can say that I didn't waste my money on the games. lol -_-

It's now been about a month and a half since I last slept in my bed. That means I've either been on the floor, on the couch or sitting against a wall somewhere in the basement. Don't ask why, I don't understand it myself why I do the thing I do. 0_o

We had a winter olympics day outside first period today. It was actually a lot of fun. Lots of us went all out, so it got pretty crazy. We ran, jumped and chased eachother through knee deep snow. Great fun. ^_^

How come InuYasha has so many endings? I was watching it right now, and when the ending came up, it was different than the normal. You know, new clips and a new song. I think this song is "Dearest". The last one was "Fukai Morai" (sp?) and I can't remember the first one. I'm not complaining because it's always a very welcomed changed, it just caught me off guard. lol

  • A little too generous... 2004-02-26 20:26:38 Ok, here's me stating my opinion when probably no one cares as usual, but I just have to get it off my chest. I guess people were just a bit generous this time around with banners. I don't mean to disrespect the creators, but I thought some that got over 90 votes didn't really deserve it. They were funny, but didn't look professional at all. If you want people to respect your work, please show that you took the time to create something with care. Why do I care you ask? Because I, just like everyone else, have the banners right in front of my face all the time. I was just hoping for something pleasant to look at, since the banners are part of the site. ^_^

In other news, I just wasted my entire day! Well, at least from the point when I got home until now, which is about 5 hours. You see, my dog had gotten an infection and was having trouble controlling her bladder. This meant I had to be on standby to take her outside most of the time. Yesterday she went out approxiamately 20 times in total. I was getting really annoyed, but I knew it wasn't her fault. So today I sat by her most of the time, playing Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance. Problem was that that game was REALLY addicting. I didn't stop until just now. I suppose I finally got my fill of it. Good thing too, because the last thing I need is to go all night and not do any homework. Ewww... I need a shower too. 2 showers a day, and you'd think I'd be sparkling clean. -_-

Today was a day of chance meetings. I saw this girl from my last semester Math class about three times. She dropped the class early, so I only saw very seldomly. Today I walked by and she made an extra effort to say hi. Then later I saw her again! So this time I made the effort to say hi. The third time I think we both thought it to be quite awkward. lol Then this one guy I saw about three times as well. By the third time, he was with another friend and said to him (with knowledge of me listening), "It's really weird. You never see Kevin walking anywhere, but you always see him all over the school". The odd thing is that it's actually true.
