When the numbers hit you...
2004-03-10 22:43:48
This time it's not about statistics, but my favourite number, 17! I'm looking over my old agendas to find the due dates for certain projects. I need to know when I completed specific paintings. Unfortunately, I used to be very vague, and only wrote things like "Art due today" or stuff like that. Luckily combining my sketch book (which unfortunately I did not date my sketchs back then as well) and key events, I'm able to order my works in chronological order, thus match them up with the corresponding due dates. Anyways, going back to what I was talking about, about my favourite number. It seems several of my works were all due on the 17th. Whether it be the 17th of March, or the 17th February, it just kinda freaked me out. Then I had an art field trip on the 17th of April! I'm scared to check out what happened on May 17th... [flips the pages] It was Anime North that day! If there was something art related on June 17th, I think I'm going to lose it... Phew, it was a day during exams, so there was nothing important. lol Still kinda freaky though...
I just read about 60 pages in my book project "The Kitchen God's Wife". It's quite an interesting novel, unfortunately it took me two hours and a half to read all that, and I still need another 60 pages before I can write my Journal entry which is due tomorrow. No chances of giving it in late, since March Break starts on Friday. -_- Somehow the idea that this write up was due eluded me this week. Probably due to the fact that there's no school on Friday, therefore I just dismissed it from my mind (Journal due every Friday). -_-
Still working on my portfolio. I would have done it after school, but I had Art council and Prom Committee all at the same time. Then after walking home, I fell asleep on the couch until 6:30pm for dinner. I could have finished my reading! Argh... Oh well, maybe I won't go to sleep tonight. I've only pulled one all nighter so far this year. And it's not like after tomorrow I'll have to worry about school. ::Evil grin:: ~_^

Rejuvenation...
2004-03-09 23:45:10
With a little bit of talk at school, I'm back into the video game craze. For a long time now I've been sort of keeping my distance from video games, except for the odd Mario Kart race of FF:TA battle. It couldn't be helped due to my work load. But with a little reminder of games like Zelda: The Windwaker and Super Smash Bros. Melee, I found myself with a urning to play! So I started up SSBM and had a blast! I forgot that that game has so many options and different things to do. I don't think I'll ever finish that game. If there's one thing Nintendo know how to do, it's create games that it's impossible to ever totally complete. Seriously, who's actually finished Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Sunshine?! 0_0
I finally got a goal in hockey tonight. It's been a crazy amount of games, but I had a nice one on one chance and got the shot in on the far bottom corner. It's a shot that I seem to score goals on the most often.
My portfolio is almost done. Which is not impressive at all. Also considering that my background form for Laurier is not done either yet, and both things are due for Monday! I know I'm a lazy procrastinator (double dip!), but this is bad even for me. -_-

Just because it's unlikely doesn't mean it's impossible...
2004-03-08 22:45:56
I actually have a headache and a sore throat right now! Porbably due to lack of sleep from last night, but still, it's been so long that I almost forgot how irritating a headache is.
Anyways, today was a long day. I had two presentations and then my math performance task (which did not go very well mind you). I had planned to finish off a bunch of university things, but you know me the procrastinator. So in other words, I didn't get any of it done. :: Smashes head on desk, while forgetting about headache :: Ugh... That wasn't too bright. -_-
^_^ There's nothing like old AMVs to cheer you up ("A Tibute to Asuka and Shinji"). The quality may be awful, but it brings back some soothing memories.
Well, I think I'm going to go to sleep early tonight, like in a few minutes. At least this way I can wake up VERY early (eg. 4:00am) and I just might get some homework done. -_-

When Saturday feels like Sunday...
2004-03-07 01:12:30
It means you've been doing too much homework! lol Today definitely felt like Sunday because I spent all morning and afternoon at a friend's house working on a project with her. Usually I don't do very much homework on Saturyday, so when I got home to relax, I seriously thought that the weekend was over. Good thing I don't have complete faith in myself when it comes to memory. lol
This past week has been murder on my wallet. A random lunch, a random dinner, going out bowling... it all adds up. Or rather, dwindles down.
Prom is coming up... and I don't have a clue about what I'm going to do!!! 0_0 Am I going to wuss out? Am I actually going to ask a girl out for the night? Will I confess my love? Will I just ask a good friend to go as friends? Ummm... just thinking about it scares me. -_-
Finally beat 150 CC in Star Cup in Mario Kart Double Dash! It took me an endless amount of tries, but I was finally successful. And my brother was in the room at the same time. I told him that he was lucky and that he was the reason I won. So I hugged him, and that freaked him out enough to leave promptly. So in other words, I didn't win after he left. lol

A forgetful mind...
2004-03-05 23:48:10
That's definitely me. It's like old age, or rather just too many things on my mind. Often I forget peoples names, and I find it extremely embarrassing. Worse it when I talk to them, and I still can't remember. Even once in awhile I can't remember the names of good friends, not just acquaintances, but luckily I remember quick enough.
And it's much worse on the internet. Sometimes I get e-mails from people whom I just plain don't recall ever meeting them. Sure there's the possibility that I really haven't ever talked to them, so I'm kinda off the hook, but I end up racking my brain anyways trying to remember.
Today's programming competition went well. Though there was four of us working together, we broke into groups of two to divide up the work, but still be teams. My friend and I finished one completed one question, and the other two got half way. This was out of four questions. Sounds pathetic, but we ranked 14th out of 25, and supposedly we faired much better than last year. ^_^
I'm up early tomorrow to work on a project, so I guess I should go to bed early. But then again, that WAS just a guess. ~_^
I've been pretty snippy towards my father as of late. I feel pretty bad about it, but there's just something about him that makes me act that way with him. It's unfair, and I try my best not to do anything, but it's usually to no avail. Hopefully one day I'll be able to make it up to him.
