  • Slept like a puppy... 2004-03-14 10:22:15 Literally. I feel asleep last night in front of the fireplace on the floor. My dog loves sleeping there, and now I know why. Unlike standing in front of the fireplace, it's not nearly as hot on the floor. So in other words it's actually quite comfortable.

Why? Well, I have no idea. lol I think I just stopped to rest for a second, and the next thing I know I woke up at 4:00am. My computer was still on where I last left it, and my Dilbert DVD was still paused. Guess I took a break and never returned. All I can say is that the floor is quite comfortable, just keep in mind that if you sleep on your stomach your chest and ribs will definitely be sore. -_-

My dad was asking what I was doing for Prom. o_0 I told him that I have no idea. He asked how was I asking out. 0_0 Good question I told him. The reality is that the thought still kinda scared me. I'd rather not think about it right now.

  • Anime in Director's Cut form... 2004-03-13 22:49:45 I could be watching Much Music's Countdown, but The Hit List is having a special from Osaka Japan. Not exactly something that happens everyday, so here I am watching it. ...Lots of J-Pop though.

My new favourite fictional character has got to be Dogbert, at least for comedic and cunning purposes. He's definitely amazing when it comes to solving problems for people, all the while keeping to a certain degree of selfishness. It's like he's a "dog" of unlimited resources. No one can defy him and live to tell about it. Definitely my hero. lol =0

My big adventure today was shopping. I was going to be picked up in two hours, and unfortunately it wasn't enough time. Ugh... Looks like I enjoy shopping just a bit too much. Though I did pick up two impressive items:
-Director's Cut: Genesis Reborn (The Director's Cut of the last three episodes of Evangelion)
-Director's Cut Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal

I'm a lot more impressed about the Evangelion DVD rather than the Samurai X one, but at least it's only one DVD rather than making both Trust and Betrayal DVDs seperate. ^_^ And on the Evangelion DVD, there's pics of what people would like to see as an Evangelion Live-action movie. Of course, I'm sure it's only a false dream, but a nice dream nonetheless.

Two boring days, and I think my mind is starting to rot away. Tomorrow I'm going to have to do SOMETHING, or else when school comes back around, you'll have to roll me out the door because I'll be completely fried.

  • A slow start to the March Break... 2004-03-13 01:55:56 Today was my first day off of school, and let's just say that I didn't exactly accomplish much. What did I do? Played FF:TA, watched some television and rented some movies. 0_0 I've seen lazy before, but this took lounging around to it's extreme!

Well, at the very least I did actually accomplish something. I beat Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance! My log time was 73:10. I can't believe I've played over 73 hours on that crazy game. Well, I may ve beat the end, but I've only completed around 140 missions, so I'm far from finished the game. I just love my character too! He's a Paladin who knows every Thief ability, most Soldier abilities, most Ninja abilities and most Paladin abilities. And most importantly... Double Sword and Reflex. I can't wait to see how much he'll know once I've completed the game. ^_^

It's getting pretty cold outside. It's weird, every March Break the weather seems to be different. One year it's warm enough to wear shorts, the next time it's freezing cold. I guess it really doesn't make too much of a difference to me. I'm sure I'll have a great time no matter what. ~_^

  • Well, I caved in to temptation... 2004-03-11 21:44:09 Well, is passing out really giving up to temptation? lol Anyways, I fell asleep for 5 minutes this morning on the floor. Just long enough for my mother to find me, and wonder what in the world I was doing. You see, my parents don't know that I pulled an all nighter. If they found out, I'm sure they'd kill me. So I guess I'll have to suffer from their nagging for a few days that I should go to bed early so I don't randomly fall asleep all over the place anymore. -_-

As for the day, nothing too important. I didn't feel as drained as I would have expected, but my contacts felt really dry. It was fun to tell people about my night whenever they asked why I was so tired. Unfortunately, you can't be subtle, because it just doesn't get through! If I said:
"I didn't get any sleep last night"
they figure I just had a rough night or had little sleep. But when I said:
"Put it this way, I haven't gone to bed yet" or "You want to know how much sleep I got (makes a zero with his hand)"
they figure it out right away. But they still need reassurance, so people all of a sudden jump to the question
    "You didn't sleep at all?!?!"
The dumb thing is, I kinda have a little pride in staying up all night. So I then I enjoy going through the details of the night to my captive audience. lol

Once home, I fell asleep again. Only there was a problem this time... My friend was picking me up to go to the movies at 6:15pm, and what do you think I was doing at this time? Yup, sleeping. My mom wakes me up saying someone is waiting in our driveway. I check the time and wonder why someone is at out house at 6:20am, and why I slept all night in my day clothes. Few seconds pass... And everything makes sense, it was still the same day! I start panicking, grab my wallet, grab my coat and am out the door before my mother can even scold me for being asleep on the floor again. lol

Anyways we saw Euro Trip. It was a funny movie. Some parts were dumb, and there wasn't much of a plot, but because it had tons of laughs, it was able to keep me awake. ^_^

  • Yes, I'm still up, again... 2004-03-11 04:59:20 Argh... so much work, so little time.
It's 4:50am right now. I've been up all night. This is my second all nighter so far this year. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. z_z

I may feel dead, but this long night has had some good points. One is that I got to talk to someone new on Messenger. She's really nice. She's a sweet 13 year old from The Shoujo-Ai Goddess Heavens. I almost never log onto Messenger anymore, so it's nice to chat with someone new all of a sudden. lol

And the other good point was that I got to talk to Soldier of Roses! It had been forever since I last talked to her. Ever since our days at TANC, we haven't spoken. Not because of any bad blood, but I guess when I drifted away from TANC, we lost contact. And I would have never been able to chat with her if I hadn't stayed up all night. She lives in England, so when it was 3:00am here, it was 8:00am over there. It was great to chat with her again.

    :: stretches ::

I think the weirdest feeling about staying up so long is when you get to say goodnight to all your friends. It's so strange when the thought pops into your mind that almost everyone you know is lying in their bed sound asleep at this very moment. Especially since it's a school day. Argh... I'm going to look/feel like trash tomorrow. Scratch that, I mean in a few hours! lol
