  • A Fresh Start... 2004-05-10 23:34:56 No!!! I hate it when you click something, and it links to it's internet site by taking over the browser you were just using! Example: I was tried to change something in Real Player, so it links to it's website using this browser, therefore everything I had written in my Journal was erased with no chance of retrieval. That has got to be one of the cruelest things in the world. ;_;

    Blah, blah, blah... I don't feel like saying everything over again. So I'll summarize. I said something about how I deleted everything off my HDDs, so I'm reloading some AMVs and MP3s from my backup CDs, problem is that I have around 75 CDs to search through. o_0

    My brother's been doing poorly in school. I talked to him earlier today, and it just sounds like he's been taking things a bit too lightly. I guess it's not much of a problem, he is just in grade 10. Hopefully, he'll pick things up when I'm gone to University next year...

    Oh, now I remember what it was I wanted to say. For those who've e-mailed me and are wondering why I haven't answered back, it's just because I haven't found enough time all at once to write decent responses. Tonight I plan to at least get done one or two though.

  • You always miss something... 2004-05-08 22:38:15 In the last ten hours, I've formatted both my hard drives, and started from the very beginning on both. I reloaded Windows and got my Wireless Network card working again. With everything deleted, and I mean EVERYTHING, I have to start all over again. Luckily I backed up everything I thought I needed. Of course, I forgot one thing... All the links I had built up in my favourites menu! I had probably around 100 links to various AMV creator sites, entertainment sites, profiles of friends and acquaintances alike, and anything I else I liked, but would not be able to remember the site address. I suppose if that's the worse that could happen, that's not too bad. ^_^'

    I can see the web banners again though! No more cheap "Free DVDs" and such. ^_^ I was really getting tired of it. I was able to see the contestants when voting for in the contest, but once the winners were determined, I wasn't able to see them. So at least that's one problem fixed.

    I spent around 7 of those hours just sitting here in my room. In reality, that's not that bad, because there have been times where I've had this drag over several days and maybe weeks, so to get it all done in one day is a blessing. =P

  • Party time... 2004-05-08 01:27:11 First off, I'm getting this most annoying pop up. It's a full blue screen saying that I'm infected with the "sasser" bug. I think I've mentionned this before. Anyways, it comes up a few times a day now. Now I seriously have to format my HDDs just to get rid of these pop-up bugs.

    Back to what I was going to say. The party I just got back from was pretty fun, though it wasn't much of a "party" party. I find it amazing how a bunch of high school seniors can have so much fun doing such... boring and lame things. I guess it all depends on your attitude about it. ~_^

    Maybe I'm just giving myself a bit too much credit, but I have a feeling that a few too many girls have been looking my way. Not to mention that this Prom thing isn't going to go as smoothly as I had hoped. First, I haven't worked up the guts to ask if my current prom date and I are going as "friends" or a real date. Next, the girl who I originally wanted to ask seems to have been hinting that she wanted to go with me. And to think, she still doesn't have a prom date. Also, I think I should stop acting like myself, because I've been getting a bit too much attention. Attention in a "Geez, Kevin's the only gentleman here". But like I said, I could easily be readint way too much into all this. Which is what I'm hopefully doing, or else simply being myself causes too many problems. How depressing to have to come to this conclusion... -_-

    I haven't any time whatsoever to update my site. I feel horrible about it, so hopefully I'll be able to make either some new sections, or just update some parts this weekend.

    But it's also Mother's Day on Sunday! I haven't gotten anything for my mother yet. Argh... Shopping this weekend will be horrible. What was I thinking. Too many birthdays. Why are there so many people born in April/May?!?! lol ~_^

  • A nice break... 2004-05-06 20:20:45 New Kare Kano volumes!!! I was at the store, and I bought volumes eight and nine, since that's where the anime finishes off. Specifically, it ends at Act 33. What a weird place to end. o_0

    Argh!!! Why couldn't they have put this all into the anime?!?! It's just as good as ther rest of the anime. If it was because the manga wasn't finished, I wouldn't have minded holding off production a year or two just to be able to complete the series. -_- Now I'm going to be grumpy.

    I don't think I'm going to do any homework today. First off, I'm just so distracted by Kare Kano (damn this anime!), and I think I'm going to make up for lost sleep from the Playoffs. So I'll keep it short today. ~_^

  • Take things slow, and think clearly... 2004-05-05 22:45:38 My computer is looking more and more bugged everyday now. I guess all those times I was saying that my Windows ME operated computer had no problems is finally cathing up with me. lol -_-

    Now here's a good example of people taking advantage of the fear in the world. I just got a pop up saying I had the "sasser" worm virus on my computer. The pop up went full screen with a blue background, like the so called windows blue screen of death (lol). In the middle was a message box warning me that my computer was infected, and to click "ok" to start Scandisk. By the way I've seen people use their computers lately, I'm willing to bet that the majority of people would have clicked ok. [sigh] This is what the world is coming to.

    So I guess it's official that I'm going to Prom now. I didn't confirm anything, but I was talking to one of my friends, and she congratulated me for who I'm going to Prom with. My assumption is that since I didn't tell her, my date probably did. I guess that's proof enough to settle my worries.

    I started watching Kare Kano again. I guess I figured since I was lending the whole series out, I might as well check it out again for myself. lol

    This is how you uknow you have no body fat. When you stop working out, and you actually lose weight. o_0 I guess I had no body fat to begin with, and the only thing I lose now is muscle. -_-
