Amazing commitment...
2004-05-17 23:45:16
I just saw someone's website dedicated to Cosplaying. This girl is simply amazing. I think her screen name is Cosplay Angel. I was browsing through some pictures, and came to realize she's probably created near to a hundred (or maybe half) costumes based on anime and video game characters. And the detail is great! Not to mention she models all of her costumes so there's proof each set of clothes are practical and are actually useable. It's people like that whom know what they want to do, enjoy doing it, and are dedicated to it that I really respect.
Today was a pretty boring day at school. Nothing too important happened, that I can remember as of right now of course. lol
Tomorrow will be a really busy day unfortunately. I sure I'll do poorly on my Computer Science test, and the same on my next Math test. In my opinion, it's because of my work ethic these past few weeks. Days like today, I have tons of time to do homework, yet I can't bring myself to do it because all I feel like doing is relaxing. Not the attitude I need in my last few weeks of High School. -_-

National Champions...
2004-05-16 22:52:38
Wow, the Aurora Tigers are the National Jr. A Champions in hockey tonight! They won 7-1 over in Saskatchewan. Image that, travelling so far, across the country, and winning the whole thing. National champions... The team from my small home town, won over the other 137 teams participating. Just amazing. I'm a little ashamed though, because this was the first year I didn't go to a single one of their games. I guess you could say that's one mistake I'm going to regret.
Yesterday was a pretty scary day. I got a call at 7:30am from my friend's mother asking me where her son was. o_0 She said he hadn't come home the night before. This guy is like my best friend. He's really responsible, so not calling was really unlike him. Eventually around noon I went to his house with some other friends to devise ways to find him, or places to search. But not too much later, he just walked in through the front door like nothing was wrong. Boy, did he get an earful from his parents, not to mention his friends. Myself, I just said it was great to know he was fine, and that was it. I admit I was worried, but not nearly as much as everyone else. I had convinced myself that he simply slept over at a friend's and forgot to call, which was exactly what happened. Why worry about things that haven't been confirmed yet?
Let's just say my life is getting a bit strange. I go through my entire life never having had a date/girlfriend, or barely even having held hands with a girl. And yet in this senior high school year of mine, I now technically have 3 dates. Ok, dates may be too strong a word, but put it this way, I definitely didn't have to worry about going to Prom alone. I have a date for Prom, I have a date for this Music Banquet thing, and was just asked to go to Commencement (Graduation) with another girl. Three different girls, all three asked ME out, and all three are good friends. Go figure the chances of that one. 0_0

That stranger you wish you knew...
2004-05-14 23:26:52
I went to my cousin's 9th birthday party this evening. It was actually a bit of fun, though short. It was myself, my aunt and uncle, my two cousins, and about 15 of their friends. We watched "New York Minute". Well, I can see what a lot of people see in the Olson twins at least. And they're both my age too! ~_^ lol
I'm just watching G.I.Joe: The Movie, right now. At least it's obvious why I used to watch this show. It's amazing! And to think, I used to watch this show like ten years ago. Yo Joe!!!
Here's something a little more romantic. I "met" this really cute girl at the birthday party. No, not one of those 9 year old girls, one of the girls working at the theatre. lol We bumped into eachother when she was setting up the room, and for the rest of the night, we exchanged looks and smiles. Ok, I know it's sad, but I never gathered enough courage to ask her name. She just looked so adorable. I suppose if I really wanted to pursue this, I could always ask my friend who works at the same theatre for an introduction... Unfortunately, I'm not that romantic, so it seems that was the first and last time I'll ever see her.

Busy little bee...

It's about time. You know that amazing Zelda trailer I was talking about yesterday? Well, it keeps freezing using the Windows Media Player, yet it was working on the school's computers. But I found out that all computers always have a backup of the 6.4 version of Windows Media Player, so I tested it out. It worked! [sigh] Now I can enjoy some quality Link butt kicking action. For those who might wish to check it out, log onto IGN.com, it has plenty of E3 coverage. ~_^
No playoff hockey last night? What an odd thing in my opinion. When there's only two games, why schedule them on the same night sometimes? I realize there must be conflicts for the arenas, but it's still disappointing because I'd like to see one game a night. Oh well, looks like tonight is 6 hours of straight hockey. lol
I got into reviewing AMVs again, but looks like it was only a phase. I haven't done any in a week now, and it's kinda bugging me. But I guess I have some reasons. I wrote down all the things I'm going to have to do tomorrow, and let's just say a day seems a lot busier once you finally get it all down on paper.

Link all grown up...

[single tear of joy]
I just witnessed the trailer for the new Legend of Zelda game that was released at E3. That was so... incredible.
In fact, there was an amazing amount of footage for all these new games coming out. Star Fox, Metroid Prime 2, Zelda, Resident Evil 4, Mario Tennis, Star Craft... ;_; How in the world am I supposed to study for two tests tomorrow with this on my mind. -_-
In weather news, it was boiling today. It supposedly went up to 27° C during the afternoon. That is just insane, even for July, let alone May. Whatever happened to Spring? lol
I have a lot more to say, but now that I've gotten into Pokémon Ruby and being sidetracked by video game news and the NHL playoffs, I've practically done zero school work for the past week. I just don't seem to be able to concentrate. -_-
