The Cinderella story is over...
2004-06-07 23:56:49
The Tampa Bay Lightning have won the Stanley Cup Playoffs over the Calgary Flames.
What an adrenaline pumped game. I have to admit that I was utterly disappointed when it was over, but that only lasted at the very most an hour. Then I remembered how great Calgary has played throughout the duration of these playoffs, and I couldn't help but feel good for them.
Unfortunately I missed the first period and a half. Today was my first soccer game, so I couldn't miss it. But once I got home, I made sure to turn on teh television and blast the volume since I still needed to jump in the pool to cool off.
Only 4 more days of school left! Not to mention that tomorrow is a half day for the school Carnival. Also, I finally made a decision on where I want to go to for University... Ryerson for Architecture! Trust me, it was a long hard decision.

One surprise after another...
2004-06-07 00:20:32
My memory doesn't fail me, it's just a bit slow. -_- Like that helps. I just remembered that I have the written part of my English exam tomorrow, and I haven't studied. I remembered when replying to an e-mail to my cousing when I read her comment on studying. This is just great.
Here's another surprise, Phade said he's passing the torch of Administrator and all of his responsibilities over to a group of people. This news is quite unfortunate, considering "Phade" has practically become a household name to those in the AMV world. I just want to say that I totally respect all the work you've put into all of this, and I hope you enjoy every moment of raising a family. ^_^
Tonight I always need to make a decision abotu (<- the kind of mistake I make when tired) where I'm going for University next year. I need to send out my answers as soon as possible, so my mom wants me to give her an answer by tomorrow. So here I am with all the folders on information on everywhere I got accepted to trying to make adecision.
I'm sure there was much more I wanted to say, bnut no time. Have a goodnight everyone, and may you all have pleasant dreams. ^_^

Could be feeling better...
2004-06-04 00:19:45
In a single day, I've gone from feeling perfectly healthy to the sickest I've felt in perhaps years, which in reality is not saying much since I'm almost never sick.
I fell asleep early last night, and got a good night's rest, which was a good idea after the lack of sleep from the previous night. I walked to school in no hurry, but started feeling sick in the stomach after arriving. Later my throat started feeling dry and irritated. Next my nose became very runny, making me take frequent trips to the washroom. Ok, for most people this sounds like a common cold, so it's nothing important. It's just unusual for me.
I finished watching Chobits yesterday night, including all the little chats on the very last DVD. It's a very good anime. The ending is nice and appropriate. There were a few details I would have liked to have cleared up, but compared to most anime, this was perfect.
The Calgary Flames have just won game 5! It was an intense game. They played great for the first two periods, but I was very scared that with their poor performance in the third, that the Lightning were going to rebound back and take the game. Luckily it was won in Overtime by the Flames.
[blows nose] Ugh... My garbage can might as well be filled to the top with tissus by now. That, and my nose is going to be raw tomorrow. -_-
AMV reviews? Ummm... Maybe when the summer rolls around. Put it this way, I barely have time to turn on my computer once a day (explanation for no Journal entry yesterday).

A record was not reached...
2004-06-01 20:43:16
In fact, I faltered right out of the gate.
Last night I wasn't even able to pull an all nighter. I had planned to spend the night reading "The Stone Angel" by Margaret Laurence, however it was very slow work. I was exhausted from the Music Banquet, so I kept dozing off, but never quite falling completely asleep. It got to a point where I read approxiamately 10 pages/hour. Once I finally woke myself up, I got some work done, but out of nowhere, I just fell asleep at 5:00am, and woke up with my alarm at 6:00am. I wasn't even drowsy, so I'm baffled that I actually fell asleep. But I'm still just as tired today, so it's not like it made much of a difference.
I bought my suit for Prom. I feel very worried about it, because I didn't spend nearly as much time thinking about my choices compared to my usual attitude. Put it this way, I NEED to worry. Whether it's before or after making a decision, I still worry. Usually I worry before hand, this way by the time I make a choice, I've thought enough about it that there's no need to second guess myself. But worrying afterwards it nerve racking because then I worry about making a poor decision. You start doubting yourself, and that's definitely no fun. -_- So remember, always worry before hand rather than afterwards!

Final Music Banquet...
2004-06-01 00:58:17
I'm not a music student. This means that I'm not apart of the biggest department in the school. In other words, I'm usually the odd one out since the majority of students are taking music, instead of courses like Art or Drama. That means I've never been to the annual Music Banquet held at the end of the year. It's a lot like Semi-Formal (dinner + dancing) except there's plenty of awards for the Music students. This year I was lucky enough to be asked to go, and let's just say I had a blast. It was tons of fun, and this time I decided not to be so timid, by hitting the dance floor and sticking there. We all had loads of fun, and were definitely exhausted by the end of it. Scary part was the drive home though. It was so amazingly foggy. We could barely see 5 car lengths in front of us, and we started getting worried when the cars behind us and in front of us started disappearing. o_0 But we made it back in one piece.
I'm debating whether to go to bed tonight or not. I could... But it's already 12:41am, and I would only be getting up in about 5½ hours. I could get some work done on my Computers, English and Gym final projects, and catch up a bit in Math. Not to mention that tomorrow is Carnival Day (postponed today because of rain) so classes are shortened and that means teachers are a lot less likely to care about school work... We will just have to wait and see.
What's next on list of things to do...
-Homework, Presentations and Tests in all four subjects
-Still selling Prom tickets
-Find summer job
-Rent Tuxedo for Prom
-Pay Prom, Music Concert, Music Banquet, Limo and Graduation tickets
-Find b-day present by Saturday
-Still tutoring
-Exams start in exactly two weeks
-Misc tasks (find friend who owes money, find friend who borrowed movie)
My mind has decided to stop working. Looks like no more well thought out comments by Kevin for tonight. I may be logged off, but let's just say I may not be taking it easy.
