No sound, no fun...
2004-11-17 02:02:27
I have no sound on my computer right now. That means, no music, no anime, no anime music videos! And just when I was starting to have a bit of time to write some opinions. Coincidence? I hope so.
Last weekend was awesome! Surprising my girlfriend at her university was one of the best things I have ever done. We had a great time. I even got to watch Toy Story 2 and Bend it Like Beckham. And I also saw her Fashion Show. Come on. 4 years of university NURSING students doing a fashion show! What guy wouldn't love to see that?
Today I just donated blood again. This was my third time. Yay! I got a pin for doing that. That makes me happy. Giving blood is actually a lot of fun. What was even more fun was that the guy taking my blood was a newbie. That's right, he was doing so many things wrong, and always asking his suporvisor (sp?) what to do next. I'm just glad I didn't lose my arm or anything. lol!

Being spontaneous is not only amazing, but nerve racking...
2004-11-12 12:37:20
Guess where I am! At my girlfriend's University (Queen's University)!!!
Why? Well, she's taking part in this Fahion Show on Saturday. It's being held and performed by the nursing department (which she is a student of). I wanted to come down and surprise her on Saturday... But she KNEW I was planning on coming down!!! So that totally ruined my plans. So I faked that I had lots of work, and that I had no idea why she would even think I was coming down to visit her, especially since we were both home just last weekend.
Anyways, when I was trying to re-evaluate my game plan for the weekend, a good friend of mine suggested I go down at that very moment (Thursday night). Ok, so instead of suggesting, it was more like telling! lol But that's ok, I love him for it.
So after an hour of pacing, debating, and smashing my head on my wall, I decided to take the next bus to Kingston and give her a little surprise visit! Of course I missed a morning riday class, but that friend who told me to go said he would take the notes for me. ~_^
So here I am now, sitting in her room, typing on her computer, all the while she's out practicing her routine for the Fahion Show. lol Ya, I'm still in my pyjamas and have bed head, but that's ok, because I'm in my pyjamas and have bed head in my girlfriend's room! ^_^ It's so great to see her again. I don't know how I used to go like 3 weeks without seeing that smiling face of hers. -_-
Anyways, I don't have very much homework here with me. I WAS going to bring my textbook, but since I had to RUN to the bus station, I decided last minute to throw my textbook on my bed and leave. It was way too heavy to try and coordinate properly. lol
So... Does being spontaneous like this suit me? Or is it a side Anime Jedi you've never seen before. ~_^

Another weekend at home over and done with...
2004-11-08 01:47:29
You know what I really dislike about using MSN Messenger or any kind of Instant Messenger for that matter? When people either don't compensate the lack of available emotion with smilies or "lol" or when people have to leave right away without really letting you confirm that you know they're leaving. I just experienced both problems right now. One, a friend of mine was saying goodbye, but used no graphics. Out of nowhere, I get "goodbye". If I didn't know any better, I would think that this person either hated me or or was ready to commit suicide! Next, another guys out of nowere in the middle of the conversation is like "Later", and that's it for me to understand. Now I've got one person who I'm not sure if they're depressed/lonely/sad, and another who I was not done explaining myself, so I'm afraid I've left them with the wrong impression. -_- It's such a horrible feeling to be left with. Please people, be considerate of other peoples feelings and try not to leave them in a situation that they may be feeling uncomfortable with.
Well, that's all I really wanted to talk about. I went home this weekend to see my girlfriend and was able to spend a good amount of time with her luckily. Other than that, nothing too important. lol

Happy Halloween...
2004-10-31 18:35:52
9000... That's a lot of views for a Journal...
Ugh... I don't feel 100%. I think it was the 24 hours of no meals, only candy diet. Darn Halloween and all the treats.
Yay, one more hour of sleep! Problem is that now it gets so dark, so early all the time. 5:00pm, and it's basically dark.
I'm not typing very much because I'm only typing with one hand. The other is feeding me. lol It's difficult to type certain words just because you've got to fly all across the keyboard, which is tiring.
Well, got to go. Tonight is Halloween after all, and a University residence makes the perfect haunted house. Mwahahaha...

A test of love...
2004-10-28 21:57:43
That's interesting, I don't remember making the mistake of double entering an entry... Weird.
Today, I'm being put to the test, and this test will last all the way until next weekend. I just bought the new Mulan DVD, one of my favourite movies of all time. What's the test? I'm not going to watch it until I can see it with my girlfriend the weekend after this one. Ugh... This will require all my willpower. She doesn't think I can do it. But we'll just see now won't we...
I haven't written any reviews in a long time. Perhaps tonight I'll write one or two. Then again, maybe not. It's tough investing the time into things when there's always so much to do.
I'm slowing down from buying anime. I still buy the mangas though everyonce in awhile because there's a used book store right around the corner. So the other day I picked up the first volumes of Excel Saga, Prince of Tennis and Angel Sanctuary. But I'm still trying to cut back. lol
