The disappearance of Sunday morning...
2005-02-13 14:44:31
Oh! Now I remember where it went! To sleep! Hahaha...
Yesterday I was in Studio from 3:00pm to 10:00pm. After relaxing for a bit in my room, I went back from 2:00am to 8:00am. I usually like to go to the arcade and play DDR Sunday or Saturday mornings because it's not very busy at all. But it seems I feel right to sleep, and though I did wak eup around noon, I only got up and showered around 2:00pm. Time to go back into Studio to do more work... 0_0
Seems like I'll have to put on hold any inkling of the idea of creating banners or writing opinions anytime this week, since after this project I've got one full Valentine's Day, then another project due on Thursday and another on Friday. Fun, fun, fun... -_-
Anyways, I need some food right now. I've had pizza Thursday afternoon, a sandwich Thursday night, a sandwich Friday night and pizza Saturday afternoon. That has been my food intake for the past few days. So it's time to refuel.
So what's my conclusion? If you take a course like Architecture (or Fashion, it's supposed to be almost as bad), and the you've chosen is more of a hands on school (example: University of Toronto has more of a Theory/appreaciation of Architecture course) just be sure you're prepared for some real work.

This always happens...
2005-02-13 01:23:29
The other day I bought the GoldenBoy double DVD. That is definitely one series I love. Yes, there is definitely enough content in the 6 episode OVA that children should not watch it, but the feel good stories and love for learning is truly amazing. I just wish I could share this with all my friends, though for the most part I'm sure they won't be able to get past the dirty mind of Kintaro Oe. -_- By the way, did you know that almost all the voice actors from GoldenBoy appear in Evangelion? Misato, Ritsuko, Asuka... It was getting a little scary. I suppose that's what happens when you use the same Recording Studio...
10 new banners were voted in (relating to my title) ! And who could have guessed it? I didn't even get the chance ot cote at all on them! I don't know why, but this always seems to happen to me. On several other occasions, if I'm continuously voting on banners, and rarely does anything gain enough votes, yet the first time I forget to check, a whole wack of them just come out of nowhere. This is probably the third time. The only reason it bothers me is because I almost feel responsible. As if, if I had voted not-worthy on a few of them, they wouldn't have made it in. Don't get me wrong, I'm know that my vote is only one vote, and that I'm making it sound like I'm so important that I can turn the tides, but it just feels weird that this has definitely happened more than once...
As for my own banners, and ones I've been asked to make... They'll have to wait until Spring Break.. I'm busy killing myself on my Theory project due on Monday. Last Tuesday and Wednesday were brutal, and I barely got a wink of sleep. Thursday I slept basically all day to recouperate. Friday I took a long nap in the afternoon, and a quick one at night, but I haven't slept since then. Almost a REAL 24 hours without sleep, just one more hour. Not one of my "I only took a 30 minute nap" ones. lol

Working very slowly...
2005-02-08 04:14:06
I just finally beat (for the most part) Pokémon Fire Red today. I don't know why, but I just couldn't stop until I had beaten the Elite Four, which as usual on your first time, was no simple task. ^_^
The funeral this past weekend was fine. I went down to Montréal Friday morning, and got back Sunday afternoon. Luckily I was given an extension, so I have a bit of time on my hands. At the funeral, I definitely broke down and bawled pretty good. After about 15 minutes, I was able to recover. This has been one bad year for crying. I've cried more since August than I think I have between the years of 3-17. -_-
Ever since Christmas, I haven't been able to pull any real all-nighters basically. But tonight seems to be going well. It's 4:14am, and I feel pretty good. Hopefully I'll make it into Studio tonight.
One week until Valentine's Day. This is going to be one serious holiday this year. lol

At the worst possible time... Again...
2005-02-02 20:05:23
Yesterday, my grandfather passed away. He wasn't that old, but he had been battling Prostate cancer (I think) since the summer, and it was simply a matter of time. The last time I saw him was for Christmas, and to tell you the truth, it was planned that that would be our last goodbye.
What makes this a bad time, is that I'm sure in my past Journal entries I've mentionned about all my projects. I have one huge project due on Monday, but I have to spend Friday and Saturday in Montréal for the visitation and memorial services. Not good for timing.
Why again? Remember when my dog Kiley passed away? She was dying right during all my midterms. Talk about only being able to pay half attention again...

A little too much sleep...
2005-02-01 08:29:07
I better consider myself well rested, because I've been sleeping way too much the past two days. Especially since I'm supposed to be pulling all-nighters for the rest of the week! You see, Sunday night I fell asleep around 6:00pm, and didn't get out of bed until 5:00am. That's 11 hours right there! That's enough for three days! Last night I fell asleep right after talking to my girlfriend on the phone, which was around 12:30am, and didn't get up until 8:00am. Sure, sleep is good, but it's digging holes into my most productive hours or working. I need those to be able to complete all my work. I have two huge projects and a test due next week, AND the same thing for the week after. At least the week of the 21st is Spring Break... ^_^
I haven't made a new AMV Banner in a long time, and am kicking myself for it. It's been on my to do list, and I just haven't had the time to get to it. If only I hadn't slept so much these past two days, I'm sure I could scrape together a few good hours to work on something. lol
I started playing Metroid Prime last night. Amazing game. My brother bought it for me for Christmas, but I had never had some free time to start her up. Totally awesome. Definitely worthy of Game of the Year in 2002 (I think). If only I had some more time to play it before Spring Break... Knowing me, I'll play even though I should be working... -_-
Well, I better get something done until class. Luckily this is my slow day, so there's not much to do. Just all the little things so I don't need to worry about them for the rest of the week.
