Yay! Another banner about opinions!

[sigh] This is one fad that is wearing quite thin. Yes, I can understand that many people are unhappy about not getting that many opinions on their amvs, but people don't have to give their opinions. No one is required to do it. By the sounds of it, everyone just expects a review once their amv is viewed. I'm seriously sick of seeing banners complaining about opinions. Aren't the banners about advertising the site, and trying to get more people interested in it?
On a lighter note (no pun intended), I finally completed the Light mode on DDR Extreme at the arcade. It's quite a bit more challenging than Beginner, but I actually beat all 3 stages! I got a D performance, but at least it's a step in the right direction. ^_^

Back in town...

I'm finally back in residence. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy being at home, it's just that I feel I can't do anything that I need to at home. I can't really accomplish anything.
Well, I suppose I don't really need to make any new banners huh? Especially since there are so many being voted in nowadays. Shame though that since there's so many, not all of them are that good. I would have hoped that people would just choose the crème de la crème, instead of anything that looked half decent. Now there's just plain too many banners floating around the org.
My girlfriend is on a cruise down South. I hope she's enjoying it. She was sick for a long time, so it will be good to be outside and enjoying the warm sunshine.
This week has gone by so quickly, I can't even remember all the things that I've done. In fact, I feel like I've accomplished nothing. Talk about a real waste. I had hoped to get at least a bit of my projects done, yet nothing was even started. And school resumes Monday! -_-
Speaking of things that never get worked on... My website. I should really probably do something about that... lol

A renwed Valentine's Day...

Well, that was a total surprise. My girlfriend and our friends decided to do something for the two of us for Valentine's Day after hearing about the unfoprtunate incident last week. lol
My girlfriend had told me that she had made reservations for us at a fancy restaurant. Now don't get me wrong, but I'll admit that I was getting a little worried about the price. Anyways, first we went to go watch Pooh's Heffalump movie. Yup, we were the only two people in the entire theatre. Yay... lol Then off to dinner. Well, since it was a surprise, I had no idea where we were going. What ended up happening was that we had dinner at our friend's house. Her and her boyfriend made us a fancy dinner, and made it like a restaurant. He cooked the food, and she was our server. It was so nice of them. Really good too. After dinner, her boyfriend was like "And Arima says guys can't cook!" (For people that follow Kare Kano) lol
Today should be a slow day. Just a few things to get done. Tomorrow morning my girlfriend will be going on a cruise for the rest of her Spring Break, and on Friday I plan to go back to Residence, where yes, I'll finally be able to get some things done, like maybe even writing another stupid AMV review. lol!

Valentine's Day continued...

This has been a hectic last week. But it's finally Spring Break, so there's a little more time to stretch my legs. ^_^
Anyways, where was I? Oh ya, finally he gave us the rest of our period. I was totally panicking at this point. I rushed the rest of the work, and ran to the nearest copy store to get it bound together. With it done, all I wanted to do was rest.
I decided not to go to my next class. This was around 1:00pm. After lunch, I went back to my room to rest, but ended up falling asleep. My bus was at 5:30pm, but I woke up at 7:25pm! I was in such a panic. Finally, I decided to try for the 7:30pm bus. So I ran out of my room with whatever I needed, ran to the flower shop and picked up the dozen roses I had ordered, and ran as fast as I could to teh bus station. It was just like a romance movie. The guy running down the street with flowers in hand, in the rain. As the bus station came into view... I could see the bus driving away. That sucked. I basically sat down on the sidewalk, in the rain, with a dozen roses in my hand, just trying to catch my breath. Let's just say that I had a very painful walk back to my room.
Once back, I had no idea what to do. My whole plan was screwed. I couldn't really do anything for Valentine's Day anymore. I admitted the whole truth to my girlfriend, and she seemed very sympathetic. I mean, it was a total surprise to her, so here I am telling her about how I WAS going to show up to her residence with flowers and a gift, but ended up missing the bus because of sleep. -_- A Valentine's Day to remember.
In days that followed, I worked like crazy on certain projects and went home on Saturday. I had put the roses in water, and they even survived until Saturday, so I gave them to her then. lol
Today, I'm back in my residence because this was the only time I could reall fix my computer. I'll head back home tomorrow night, and come back to residence on Friday. ^_^

An unfortunate Valentine's Day...

Well, let's start from the beginning.
I had been working all weekend on my Theory project. I was working well enough that I was going to be able to JUST finish it on time even with my all nighters everyday. That Monday morning I had been working all night, and was going to work during my 3 hour class, since our teacher had previously told us there was nothing to do. Dead wrong! Since we were all already working in Studio, he calls us all together and talks to us for like an hour and a half. At this point I'm killing myself. I'm thinking "How is this happening?!?! I'm not done, and what precious little time I need is disappearing." At one point he said "There's an hour and 15 minutes left... I could talk the whole time, but I figure you would want an early lunch. So only 15 more minutes."
Never mind. Got to go. Talk later.
