So little time...
2003-01-07 20:22:32
This si going to be short. During the scool year, I'm going to have no time at all to write nice long Journals. Too bad too, I like writing these.
Anyways, back to school. It's been 2 days, and it hasn't been that bad. But I'm having trouble re-adjusting to doing homework and everything. I should be doing it right now. Hmmm... I tend to say that a lot in previous Journals. Maybe this is the source of my troubles... But I enjoy writing in here. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. lol Like I was saying, school is fine. In English, we're reading a new book called Clockwork Orange. It's difficult to read at a fast speed. Luckily our teacher wants to read it as a whole, during class. I don't doubt that this is helping soooo many people. Like me ^_^. I have a Math test tomorrow. I hope I do well, but it's not like I'm doing much to guarantee that (not studying right now). Everyone did awful on our last test. I got one of the highest marks with a 68% LMAO (that was for fyrtenheimer, she said I should laugh more). Can you believe that? A mark that low, and is one of the highest. Just proves how hard our work is getting... French is fine, and computers is the same.
I watched Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade last night. I would like to say that that is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen! The whole Red Riding Hood thing was awesome, and the action too. The ending surprised me, but in reality, I was sort of expecting it too. Too bad I had to rush through it to get to bed. I will definitely have to buy it now! ^_^
I just saw a thread about a new GBA SP, I think by leathelanime. It looks so sweet! Unfortunetely, I can't find much info on it. I hope it comes to stores soon. I'll buy it right away, since I never did go out and buy a GBA.
No time at all for Messenger today. Really sucks. I'll have to make it up on... Thursday night. Tomorrow I have hockey, so that won't do at all. Geez, this really bites.
That's all for now, see you all later. (Fast typing + no proof reading = probably full of mistakes, lol. When I type really fast, I tend to leave out words, making it almost impossible for people to know what I'm talking about, lol). Kevin (Anime Jedi)

I forgot a title?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!
2003-01-04 15:11:41
lololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol
LMAO
Phew... ok. Well, that sucks. After all those times of being careful about how and what I write, and sometimes proofreading, I go and forget the title. Oh well, the things we do...
Oh ya, I just finished The Color Purple. I spent another 2 hours, of reading, and slowly falling asleep on the couch. I'm just not used to reading. I liked the ending, it gives a nice ffeling inside.
ReBoot: Daemon Rising is on. I wonder why they show it like a movie. Yes, both Daemon Rising and My Two Bobs can look like movies, but aren't they just 8 epiosodes of season 4? I don't really care, I like them both anyways. Hope they get newer episodes after that, I really want to see them. ^_^

I feel better now. I had to get away from my computer for a bit.
Yesterday, I read a lot of the that book I was telling you about, The Color Purple. I'm glad I did, I'm almost done. Now I can get started on the Journal entries I have to do for it. After a few hours, I was getting tired. I'm not used to spending 3˝ straight doing something, not even spent on the computer. And I normally don't read at all, so that was a different way to spend my Friday. I have about 60 pages left, I'll do that today. Then it's work, work, work... lol
It's too quitet in here. Time for some more music videos. This time I'll watch "Try" by Aluminum Studios. It's a nice vid, I was never able to watch it with the older Windows Media Player (7.1) for some reason, it got too choppy. But it works now. Well, it just finished, so I'll watch "She will lead us" by Craig Buchanan (Spooner St DivX). Another vid I love. High quality, and feels sentimental. Though I think the creator said it was just something he threw together. Amazing how modest people can be, or if it is true, then that is truely amazing ^_^.
After reading, I watched tv. Fridays are Comedy Fridays on CBC. I'm glad they are, a good laugh is always appreciated. A lot of them were the New Year's Eve special from, well, New Year's Eve. lol Watched the 2003: Year of the Farce, and the This hour has 22 minutes 1 hour special too. Both were good, but I felt weren't as funny as they used to be. Mostly good points, but a few bad ones. My highlight was the commercial for the return of Made In Canada. I love that show, I used to not really like it, but once I gave it a chance, I made a 180. I really enjoy it.
But the commercial itself was hilarious. Ok I have to explain it, but I won't be able to do it word for word. Guy 1 is in his office, watching tv, one of those Plasma tvs. Guy 2 walks in and says "Wow, what a clear picture!". Guy 1 responds "Ya, it's a plasma screen.". Guy 2 says "Plasma... lol sounds like something from a Sci-Fi show.". Guy 2 responds "No, it's a real plasma screen. You know, plasmatic". Guy 2 gets a serious (imo the funniest part, I crack up everytime. Because of the way he acts) "You mean that's real life plasma? Whoa...'. Girl 1 enters and walks towards the tv "Nice tv!". Guy 2 pulls her aways from the tv and says "Watch out, it's plasma". Anyways, nobody probably even understood what I just explained. But it was funny, let me tell you that.
During all this, 2 hockey games were going on, and I didn't watch either of them. Canada versus Us in the Semi Finals of the World Junior Hockey Championship and Leafs versus Devils. I heard that Leafs lost 1 to 0, but that's all i heard. For the Canada game, Canada won 3-2. I only saw a few parts. Really nice game. Nice 3rd goal they got. Anyways, Canada versus Russia in the finals, tomorrow! That is going to be one crazy game! Imagine if we win on home ice... man that crowd is going to go crazy. lol
Well, I watched the "She will Lead us" vid 3 times, time for a new one. I'm going to go with "True Faith", another one by Aluminum Studios. One of my fav and only Pokémon vids. ^_^
I finally got my Nintendo Power magazine. I've been waiting for it for many a days. I was so happy yesterday when i checked the mail, and it was there. It even came with this DVD for the preview of games. I'm glad, last year's mini CD was nice, but seemed much slower than the DVD. Though there was one problem. The DVD seemed so out of date. All the games it was advertising, were already out. Why not show us games we haven't seen before? Oh well. ^_^
I've got to get to homework, but first I think I'll go on Messenger. I haven't been on for awhile, and I miss talking to everyone. And not only that, I haven't been to forums like SpPANDA and ShadowWorld in such a long time, I feel ashamed... :( But I'll try and do that now. ^_^ See you all later.

Meh... 3 days left
2003-01-03 09:54:19
I feel lousy this morning. No apparent reason so far, other than I got more than the usual amount of sleep, by going to bed earlier. This sucks. I feel fine for the entire holidays while going to bed around 2-3am. One night I go to sleep at 12:30 am, and I start feeling bad. I think it's a sign, I can never go to sleep early again! lol
I have to finish reading a book today. I still have a lot left, so I'm going to have to hurry it up. It's, The Color Purple, a book for English class. It's not that bad, but I haven't really read anything of it for a wihle now. Better get cracking. ^_^
My computer is acting dumb for some reason. Whenever I minimize something, that little title doesn't go into the tool bar. It just disappears. Remind me not to minimize this Journal before I'm done. lol
I saw LOTR: The Two Towers yesterday. It's pretty good. Nice action and suspense. I thought we weren't going to be able to get the last scenes into the movie, since it was reaching 3 hours, and I thought it was going to end before then. You know, like a charging into battlle scene, and that's where it leaves us. I'm really glad it didn't though. The theatre was like empty. I went to the 11:30 am showing, so the first one. Maybe that's the reason, but still, like a fifth of the theatre was full, maybe not even. Too early for people?
lol, I checked the time, and it was 11:11 am. Ok, that was useless, but it's funny how timing at the right moment works.
Yup, still feel lousy. I should feel good, since it finally snowed. I think around 15cm. Not much, but a good amount. I was bored of looking out the window and thinking it was spring. lol
I'm watching some mroe AMvs, as usuak. I'm looking for some good ones that I haven't seen for awhile. So I'm searching in my .WMV folder. Lots here I probably haven't seen for months. lol
I also feel very sore. My left wrist is killing me. Both were feeling bad before, and I thought it was because of hockey. But the right one is better, still sore, but better than the left. Well, my right wrist may be better, but this muscle in my right arm is hurting. Not the shoulder, but right above the bicep. It's just below the joint for the shoulder. It hurts if I do certain things, like making my arm shoulder height (sticking out) and swinging it to my front and back. Sorta like swiming the breast stroke, but keeping the arms straight. Ok, enough complaining for now. ^_^
I haven't the ReBoot marathon last night. Man, that has got to be one of the greatest show EVER! It was all 16 episodes of the 3rd season. So from 4 to midnight, all ReBoot! I'm glad I have a tv in my room, or else, I would get way behind on the computer. lol
Well, I gotta go. I need to workout, take a shower, do homework, play some of the GC games I got for Christmas, take my dog for a walk, watch the movies I rented... SOMETHING, ANYTHING! Whatever it may be, it better drag me out of this. A person can't stay like this for long, or they would go crazy! lol See ya, Kevin. ^_^

Happy New Year!
2002-12-31 23:48:47
Well, this is kinda pointless, but I just wanted to wish you all a happy new year. It's 12:58 am right now. I celebrated New Year's Eve with my family. It was the funniest thing this year. Though normally we are not totally noticeable of the time, to celebrate the New Year on time, but this year was the best! We were watching the Leaf game (Toronto Maple Leafs), and we were all totally absorbed in the game. Well, all of a sudden this little text at the bottom shows up and is counting down from 20 seconds. We were all wondering what was happening, and checked the time. It was really time for the New Year to arrive! Well, the count was over and we all cheered. And guess what then happened? The Canucks (Vancouver Canucks) had a breakaway! Well, the guy skated down the ice and put on the brakes right in front of the Leaf goalie (Ed Belfour), and he ended up fanning (missing) one his shot! Well, the Leafs then took the puck, skated down the ice, and scored on the Vancouver goalie (Cloutier). And this was all on the Leafs' powerplay! What a crazy few minutes! lol
I'm now enjoying Animé-Nia here in my room. Right now, the 3rd last episode of Gundam Wing is on. The episode is called, Collision in Space. I would have never mentionned that, but it was just announced. lol Commercials at this time really suck. I now I'm taping the episodes, but I like commercials. I was hoping to get a few good ones. But there is nothing good! Oh well, I can only imagine how bad it will be while taping Escaflowne. lol Scratch that about no good commercials, a Buckley's cough syrup just aired. It was midly funny... -_-
I just noticed that the most powerful mobil dolls are the Vigos right now. And I'm a Virgo! ^_^ Though this all changes in the movie... with the Scorpios... -_- Oh well. lol
See you all later. And hope you have a wonderful New Year! ^_^
