  • Easter 2003-04-20 13:38:27 Got up late today (9:45am). I didn't exactly go to bed late, but I couldn't drag myself out. Jeez, lots of sappy music to wake me up by alarm this morning.

    We all went out to hit a bucket of golf balls. First one of the season. I had a few good hits, and it didn't seem to hard to get back into the swing of things.

    I didn't want to do any forumming today, but I felt guilty for some of the sites I haven't been to in about 5 day or more. So I though i should check in as usual. And I still have some reviews to write up.

  • Pool's open 2003-04-19 23:12:08 I got there early, so my friend was gone picking up our other friend to help. I got play with his dog. He looks like a wolf! It was fun.
    As usual, it's very messy business, opening a pool for the season. Most of our time was spent cleaning off the pool covers from the winter.
    The other friend who came to help, had to go home to see his relatives, so it was just me helping out then. We got it done, then went to dinner. After dinner, we saw "The Phonebooth". Good movie, very suspenseful, but very short. And today just happened to be the perfect day to see it...

    I'm going to sleep now. Maybe I'll try sleeping with my face in my pillow. We'll see how long I can hold my breath.

  • Gone for the day... 2003-04-19 09:19:28 Up late last night (~_^), and I decided to get up fairly early this morning. At lunch I'm going to my friends house to help him open up his pool. This is a yearly tradition now! He invites me, and anyother one person to help with the pool, then he takes up to dinner and a movie. I say it's a pretty good deal. The other person always differs from year-to-year, but I'm there everytime. This is the 3rd year, and last year I even helped close the pool! It's a nice, fun way to help out. ^_^

    Looks like no buying anime tonight. I'll have to hope for tomorrow! ^_^

  • Good Friday 2003-04-18 14:00:17 Well, I wanted to go shopping today, but most of all the stores are all closed to due to the holiday. I wanted to go buy Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky. Guess I'll go tomorrow.

    I rented the second DVD of Beserk. The first was pretty good, and I obviously liked it enough to want to rent the second one. lol I also saw .hack//SIGN and some other nice anime to rent, but most were already taken. I'm happy my video store has finally decided to stock up on some anime. ^_^

    I got up pretty late today. I got about 9 hours of sleep. There's just something about having no school that won't let me get up after 6 hours anymore. I feel more tired than usual, and can't drag myself out of bed. Maybe I should trick myself into believing everyday is a school day, just to get up. LOL!

    My mom got a new laptop. I'm not if I've mentionned this before. It's REALLY nice. Her last one crashed, so her boss got her a new one. She NEEDS it for her job, so it's not like he had to think about it. lol It's so fast, it comes with a DVD/CD-R drive, and has Windows XP. It's only about 5 times faster than my desktop in every possible way. -_- Jeez I'm jealous...

    My brother's been playing more and more GameCube lately. Maybe I should start charging him... lol I wish! But seriously, I think he's pushing it. After all, I've spent everything on it. That's one of the main things I wanted about it, to call it my own. Jeez, I'm so possessional... lol

  • Back from AGO! 2003-04-17 14:53:46 Yup, I just got back from the Art Gallery of Ontario. It's quite a cool place, but we definitely didn't have enough time there. lol

    We started the day by going to school as usual. We didn't go ao any of our classes, because the bus picked us all up right when school started. The ride downtown wasn't bad at all. There was some nice scenery on the way. ^_^

    Once there, we walked around taking scetches of the types of architecture. It was freezing down there!!! Not only cold, but REALLY windy! So after an hour of that, we were all frozen. lol

    Then we got to go inside and look around the gallery. There was nice stuff and all. Lots of painting, and sculptures. The one bad thing, was that we only got about an hour for being inside, so we never even got to go through the entire gallery. I missed quite a bit. :(

    Lunch was nice. I had it with some of my friends in the cafeteria at the gallery. 2 of them were so energetic! lol They're so great to be with. ^_^ After eating, we went shopping around. It was so much fun to just browse around, looking through all the stores and everything. lol We took some pictures, and had to catchh the bus back. We actually thought we were late and might miss the bus, but it ended up being that the bus was the one that was late. Phew!

    I ended up practically sleeping the rest of the way back home. Nice way to daydream. ^_^
