JOURNAL: Anime Jedi

  • Going out soon 2003-05-16 15:05:21 I've got a bit of time, then I'm going out for the night with my friend. He'll be driving. I don't see him all that often anymore, but I realized something after talking to him last night on Messenger... he's such a great friend. Definitely one of my closest.

Ok, I was writing this 10 minutes ago, and I've kind of lost my sentimental track. So I have nothing more to say about that. lol

It's pouring rain outside. I walked home was was soaked real well. I'm drying off right now. Since my hair's nice and short, it dries quickly. ^_^

Days like today are so great, when it comes to Art class that is. First off, we have a small class. About 11 people in total. But since it's the Friday of the May 2-4 weekend, we were missing a few people. Anyways, one thing I like about the class, is that it was 7 girls and myself. And to think, all the girls that are just a pain weren't here today (probably gone smoking)! Come on, I may be Anime Jedi and am like Shinji, but I'm still a guy. And it's not even like it's just some girls, most of them are sooo cute. Geez I'm lucky. ~_^

I'm dead when it comes to my project that's due on Tuesday. -_-

New Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes on right now. ^_^

Well, my hair is dry, but I need to fix it up now. It's sort of all over the place on the top. lol

I'm going to get some of my stuff ready, and relax for the next little bit. See you all later.

  • Hehehe... I'm so evil... 2003-05-15 20:03:11 I finally figured out a way I can enjoy many of the Flash movies I've always seen on the Internet, on my computer. Like the ones that are introductions to sites! I don't mean just watch, I mean run them from my computer.

I won't go through the details, but at least now it runs nicely. I got the idea after going on the Golden Sun: The Lost Age site. I watched the introduction and thought, there's got to be a way I can save this to my computer and use some program to watch it all the time... Well, I figured out a way.

All I can say is that it now works very nicely. ^_^ I messed up some of the other things on my computer, but that's nothing that can't be easily fixed.

    Sarah:
Thanks. That means a lot to me. ^_^

Ok, I need to admit to something. Everytime I talk about myself, even if it's here in my very own Journal, I feel like I'm acting conceited. You know, self-centred. I can't help it. Like, here's a place where I should talk about me and my day, but talking about myself or anything feels weird... Like in my last Journal entry. I found it so hard to admit I got a compliment. I actually felt bad about talking about it! If I complain about something, it's the exact same... -_-

  • Some people just deserve more respect... 2003-05-15 15:07:54 "Those who demand respect, do not deserve it. And those who deserve respect, do not demand it."
I love that quote I got from Clara. ^_^

My Shelter class teacher is so nice. But since this is a class most people take in order just to get a free credit, it's not exactly the brightest class around. It's also a grade 11 class, but most of the people are in Grade 12. Anyways, there's not really any respect in that class. And remember, respect is one of the most important ideas in my life. Everyone's always talking, messing around, and even talking back to our teacher. It really bugs me.

Well, today she really embarrassed me (my teacher). Not in front of everyone, but enough that I didn't know what to say back to her. We were finishing our Quiz, and when I finished, I flipped mine over, put it to the side, and sat quietly, staring down at the table. When she walked by to pick mine up, she said not quite whispering, but in a low voice "Now why can't everyone else be like you Kevin? It'd make my job a lot easier. ~_^". It was something like that. I admit I can't completely remember, because that whole thing went by so quickly, I almost thought it was a dream. Anyways, after that, a few people turned around and stared at me, and I just went back to looking quietly at my table, and kinda blushed.

Nice bit of diversity in songs. And to think I haven't gotten tired of it yet. It's almost always playing when I'm in my room.

Time for more school. Got to head off.

The time of the first time I ever get to see one of my banners on the pages of AnimeMusicVideos.org. It really suprised me, because I wasn't even looking for it, and was about to change the page, but I caught a look at it. ^_^

Those "Concerned Childrens Advertiser" commercials are actually a good mix of information, and comedy. Most of them are pretty old, but still eye catchy. The one I just watched was the one where a kid who just got a rare Pokémon card, comes out of the store and stares at his new card. But the wind takes it away, and he tries to case it down. He end up failing, and just stands trying to catch his breath, and watches his "valuable" card fly away. It ends with "Stay fit, because you never know". It was so funny the first time! lol

I got a nice snack during Shelter class. Our teacher is also the Family Studies teacher, so she brought some of the food they made before, into our class. First, I still had part of my sandwich from lunch, then I had a nice oatmeal cookie she brought in, then some chocolate cake, then some crazy food cooked on a plant! She wouldn't tell us what the "plant food" had on it, because she said we wouldn't eat it. lol Something about anchovies, and pepper. I didn't care, because I'm trying much harder not to be a picky eater. Still good though!

Just found out I need to get all my wisdom teeth out. All 4 of them. This should be fun. -_-

    Time for school work... ~_^
