  • Why so much junk mail? 2003-06-07 22:27:43 I'm ever so curious why the e-mail address I created for the sole reason of forumming, it getting about 15 pieces of junk mail a day now. Over half of then I don't even know what they're talking about.

    Here's a great one:
From: ylqd0.pcaqm@hotmail.com (what in the world is this?!?!)
    Subject: £Ò¥þ¥Á§¸`¹B°Ê¡A§K¶O°e±z¶i¤f»â±a (I have a feeling it's about ties)

I don't let a lot of things get to me, but this is certainly getting the job done. Like, what in this crazy world is going on?!?!

When they say "to: ", it's not like it's even addressed to me.

    One was to: kdYWbxC@bellsouth.net

    What does this mean?!?!

It's no wonder why I keep drifting away from the online world. -_-

Oh ya, Ducks forced a game 7! ^_^ Kariya was knocked out good (no complaint), but then came right back out and scored! ^_^

By the way, this is the first time I even turn on my computer today. o_0 And it's not even like I was busy... lol

  • It may be rainy, but it's still nice 2003-06-05 19:15:44 I decided to walk to the Tennis courts today. My dad kept offering me a ride, but I'd much rather walk. I just like independent. I hate the idea of being dependent on someone. Anyways, it took me ½ an hour to walk there. But since it was raining the night before, the courts were soaked. Our teacher had said the day before that if the courts were wet, we'd have gym in the school's weight room. You know what that meant... I was all alone, and had to walk another 20 minutes to school. I got in just as the anthem was playing, so I was a little late. Not bad for taking a 50 minute detour.

Oh well, I didn't really mind. It was warm, but misty outside. So the walk was nice. Though I looked kinda weird walking down the streets with a Tennis racket sticking out the side of my school bag. lol

    Sarah:
I got your PM, and sent one back for you.
I also saw your vid before you even wrote it in your Journal. It's nice. The music seems a little bland, but I guess it was given to you for this project, right? You had some nice editing. Some parts looked great, and some parts looked a bit repetitive. Unfortunetely the whole thing seemed a little choppy. I guess the vid is a bit much for my computer. I'll have to watch if on a faster computer to see it better. ^_^

The episode of DBZ where the Androids activate 16 is the first one where they play one of my favourite sequences of music in the show. You know, the music where 17 squishes Gero's head, and then when Trunks blasts the mountain. There's just something about it that adds a lot of suspense. ^_^ I just thought of it because that episode was on today.

Everyday I bring my Yearbook to school, and get a few more signatures. I'm still getting some signatures of those people I've been too nervous to ask. Looks like I'll keep testing my luck tomorrow too. ~_^

  • New units! 2003-06-04 15:31:26 We're now doing Tennis in gym. It's great. It's a lot like Badminton, and even more like Indoor Tennis. Problem is that I need to get to the Tennis courts even earlier than I would for school. But that's ok, because it's a great game. ^_^

Hmmm... you want someone to suffer Sarah? Any particular reason? I hope nothing serious...

I am getting so many of these dumb little e-mails now, it's not even funny. Like what kind of message is this:
    -°ê®õª÷±±ÁÈ128»õ°hµ|¤T»õ¦h,©p°hµ|¦h¤Ö?
    -_-

I fell asleep yesterday and missed the new episode of Yu-Gi-Oh!. That really sucked. I'll have to make sure not to fall asleep today!

Today was so cool. The school had this crazy idea for "Random Acts of Kindness" week. So to start it off, they made a star and put a name on it for every student in the school. That's like 1600 stars! They did this so someone can get your star, and give it to you. I expected a few people to get mine, just because I see them everyday in my class. You know, nothing special. But the most unlikely thing happened. A girl in my Art class picked it up and gave it to me! I didn't expect this because 1)More than half the day had already gone by, so I wasn't even thinking about it, and 2)because I don't even know her very well. But I guess since our class is so small, it's easier to get to knokw eachother.

Anyways, I walked into the class, and she yelled over to me to walk over there. There, she handed me my star. You could say I was a LITTLE tongue tied. All I could muster was a little "Aww, thanks. That's so nice of you!". After that dumb little phrase, I was ready to hide under the table. Looks like I crack under pressure. -_-

  • Why do people fake sympathy? It only hurts even more... 2003-06-03 17:39:05 Well, that's embarrassing. I wrote "my Sarah" in my last Journal entry. I meant "me, Sarah". lololol That really is embarrassing!

I am so tired today. I guess staying up late only gives you a one day rush. lol I actually fell asleep JUST before Yu-Gi-Oh! Do you know how much that bugs me? As usual it was a new episode, so I can't afford to miss any. Dumb sleep. -_-

Ok, back to the topic. This is one thing that REALLY annoys and hurts me. Because most people don't share my feelings for anime and television, they tend to act differently if I'm bummed because if something of that nature, compared to anything else. Not very clear? How about this, if I missed a new episode os something I wanted to see, and I'm depressed about it, no one ever says anything remotely comforting. It's like, just because they don't think it's a big deal, there's no reason to bother with it.

I once missed something very important. I was really depressed about it. I kinda mopped all around the house. My mom seemed concerned and asked what was wrong. When I told her, she said "Oh well, it's just a show" and walked away. I was like, what happened to the person who was just here and seemed to care? My brother doesn't care about anything about me, and normally is just pisses me off, but other times it really hurts. Just because it's not important to you, doesn't mean it's not important to someone else. I know people don't HAVE to care about something, or even help you, but when you help, you don't pick and choose what you want to do. You help, because you want to help, not because you might be interested. All I can say is that this idea is one of the very few ideas that can really hurt me inside. It's like I'm not expecting it, so I'm not mentally prepared to be shut down by a person. I'm willing to open up, and that's when a person decides to shove the knfe through my heart, when I'm unable to defend myself. -_-

  • Hmmm... that's no good 2003-06-02 23:23:14 Sorry to hear that Jeremy. It's never good to hear that your parents want you out of the house, and on your own. Sounds pretty tough. Hope it blows over.

lololol That's a new one on my Sarah...
Iron my face? I'd like to see to see you try. ~_^
But no worries anyways, I'm always having fun. You should know that. Doesn't matter what it is, I'm always able to find something enjoyable in it.

Just had my first soccer game of the year. And guess what, no practices like last year. Oh well, we do what we can. We ended up losing 2-0. I don't mind at all, sicne this was the first time we've all seen eachother since last summer. Most of us were a little rusty, but nothing a few more games won't cure.

I think from now on I'm resorting back to staying up late, since I'm not working out in the morning. With the combination of sleeping later and going to bed earlier, I got about 7-8 hours of sleep, and I was so tired all day! Today I had 5 hours, and wasn't tired at all. And I know it's not the idea of just going to bed early, because when I got up early for my workout, I was fine. It's just the idea of getting a lot of sleep. So in conclustion:
    Lots of sleep = Tired
    No sleep = Good
