JOURNAL: Anime Jedi

  • Wow, lots of entries so late at night 2003-06-10 00:27:20 Just wanted to say a few things I was too distracted to mention in my other Journal entry.

I hit the 3000 mark in Journal views. Well, actually it's now 3099 or something. Who knows. Wow, this is starting to sound like talking about the number of posts for posting!

I got another banner voted in. It only got 95 votes though, so I kinda feel like it's a cheap banner. I checked a few of the older ones, and the highest I found was 131 votes. I'm totally surprised. It's a good banner, but compared to a lot of the others, it doesn't deserve that many. Maybe a 115 or something, but not over 120. Now, lots of banners are just making it in. Maybe people are just tired of banners, and we should give them a break before entering anymore... Hmmm...

I just finished some of the homework. Well, I finished the research project, partially. I just need to talk about the university courses a person needs to take. But that book I have on all the courses, is upstairs. And I don't dare go wandering around up there at this time. My parents would kill me. -_-

I have a feeling tomorrow night will be like tonigh. Well, that's unfortunate, but I can't do much about it.

We got out... butts kicked in soccer. It was probably something like 9-1 for the other team. They were extremely tough. I guess that's what you get for being 2 years older. lol A lot of the guys were complaining about how much it sucked, and how they'd rather be studying for exams or watching Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. I didn't mind playing. I thought it was a great learning experience playing a team that was man handling us in everything, passing, shooting, dribbling, controlling, running, communicating... But the wierdest thing was that I think we pushed them a round a bit more than the other way around, literally. Though that's probably just because they always got to the ball first, so we had to play the man. lolol

Ducks lost. Oh well. I'm very disappointed, and I wished I at least could have been here to watch the defeat, but it was inevitable. They had an awesome try. And had everyone fooled from the very beginning by beating The Red Wings in the first series by sweeping them! Good memories... Maybe next year. ~_^

I need to be up in 5 hours, so I should get some sleep. See you all later. ^_^

  • Busy again, as usual lol 2003-06-09 18:24:01 The rest of this night is definitely going to be rough. And to think, these are small final projects I have to do! lol

I have soccer at 9:00pm. It's going to be freezing outside! Actually, it's already freezing because it was raining earlier and yesterday. Hmmm... I have my final research project due tomorrow. I'll also need to work on my gym final project because my dad wants to go to a baseball tomorrow night. So I either do that right now, during the next hour, of after, at 11:00pm. Sounds like fun no matter what I do. ~_^

School's been a little better lately. The majority of the time has been spent reviewing for the exams. I guess I can't complain though, it saves me the trouble of studying at night. Which is nice, because I already have enough to do. ^_^

  • Back to school, and back to projects... 2003-06-08 21:02:28 I've really got to stop making so many Journal entries. I should learn how to write everything I want into one small and compacts Journal entry... Hmmm... that'll be hard to do. lol

I played Zelda: The WindWaker today, first time in a long time. I played enough to beat the Wind Temple. That means all I need to get now is all the shards of the triforce of Courage. That's really going to be hard considering I have no idea where and what I'm looking for. I wish I had some hints from the game. All the king of Hyrule says is that I need to find all 8 shards before returning to save Zelda. Hmmm...

I watched the 3rd DVD of Evangelion and a few episode of Family Guy. I guess I got tired of having bought so many things, and never using them this weekend. I never did go buy The Animatrix. Oh well, I'll have to go next weekend.

It was raining tonight... that means Tennis might be cancelled tomorrow. I'm hoping for the best though! We really don't need another day cancelled. If we get oo many, I'll never be able to get my serve down pat. lol

Well, here I am. Sitting in my room, in the dark except for my desk light, listening to music, pondering about the world. It was just the song Dolphins Cry - Live playing. I really like that song. Anyways, it's hard to think cleary when I feel confined. For thoe of you who don't know, my room in the basement, and in this particular room, there's no windows. That's pretty much the ONLY thing I would change in this room. Anyways, nothing's really coming to me right now. I'm drawing up blanks... Maybe I'll wait for another day to be hit by inspiration. Inspiration for what you ask? For anything! To work, to play, to enjoy life, to clean, to eat... to live. ~_^

  • I bet anyone would be able to spot one of my banners from a mile away... 2003-06-08 13:34:22 They all have one thing in common, but I won't tell you because than would be no fun. ~_^

What I can say is that mine are almost always boring. All it is, is a scene with a little text and the logo added on. Depending on it all matches up, I may need to spend a little time on touching it all up to make sure it all flows together. And that's it! I have to admit that I feel guilty whenever someone tries really hard and puts a lot of time into theirs, and doesn't get enough votes, and one of my mine does. Though some of my favourite ones never got enough votes, which really surprised me. lol

The majority of the basement is cleaned up. I'm glad for that, I don't really feel like scrubbing and dusting a lot today. Though I did have to do my share of yard work. It's just never done. lol

My wrist is REALLY starting to bother me now. I can't understand why. I haven't golfed in over a week. I don't have hockey anymore. I stopped working for the reason that my wrist was hurting. And I'm online only a small fraction that I used to be on. The world works in mysterious ways...

  • Slowing things down... 2003-06-07 23:53:18 Ok, now that I've taken a shower and am no longer thinking about stupid junk mail, onto the rest of my day. I got up late due to being out late last night.

I watched Spirited Away for the first time. Yup, this is the very same one I bought about a month and a half ago, and it's sat on my shelf ever since. Anyways, I watched it, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. It's a pretty cool movie. There's a few things I'd change though. Like the whole "YOU were the one who saved me a long time" thing. It feels like it could have been made up too easily on the spot.

You need something that had to do with the entire thing, but you only realize at the end, like in ReBoot. This has got to be one of the greatest shows for creating suspense and concealing the truth. For example, Matrix demonstrating the "Game Sprite" mode to Mr. Pearson, forgetting to put it back to normal, so as a new Enzo is created. I never expected that!

After that, I cleaned around, and tidied up some stuff. I got rid of some junk, and put away a lot of stuff laying around. I also organized a few of the shelves in the basement kitchen. There was so many things that didn't belong there. -_-

Went to my brother's soccer game. His team won 4-1. It was a pretty good game. A friend of mine was the referee for the game, so that was pretty surprising. lol

Got back, played some GC, relaxed, ate, watched hockey, showered, and am here! ~_^

I saw a repeat of the MTV movie awards. It was ok.

I've got a few projects due on Monday (tomorrow, lol). So I'll have to do that today (Sunday, lol). Also, I'll try to get a ride to Future Shop, so as I can buy The Animatrix. Should be awesome! ^_^
