oh yeah, the new NEW sts interface is currently in the works and coming along just swimmingly. it's a good thing i abandon stuff i'm not entirely satisfied with, or we'd have been stuck with -ugh- such unsightly crap. and i mean crap that has no parallel.. except maybe with my own site. which, by the way, i hope to start working on after sts is done. then maybe i'll have time to edit. *sigh* - the fate of millions- er, like.. 50 2002-12-20 09:58:46 succeeded in shutting down the SaiyanTripleStrike forum last night. hahah.. i mean hell. i wasn't even trying. ...silly males.

i don't think it's gonna happen, friends. i was close. i was really really close, and i've done a lot of editing in it that i'm proud of - and maybe, just maybe, i will finish it someday - but meh.. video quality took a hit in the capture, and the song never really blew my skirt up, and i've struggled with the whole thing for 4-5 months, and i think it's time now to surrender the fantasy! :p
that said, i still carry a torch in my little heart for Battle Angel. i'll do another one - one with a really fun piece of music to edit to. i was thinking about some MSI....... but that's for later. for now, i'll work on my mononoke vid. i'm also planning a dragonball z video and a cowboy bebop series trailer. easy, fun stuff.
errr, AFTER the STS interface is done. i've been promising this thing for a while now. i trashed the one i was working on most recently, 'cause.. it was pretty horrid. the new one is almost done. then! its 2 alternate skins, and all subsequent pages. *dies* -

alas, i am editing again! i'm working on my Princess Mononoke video (conveniently ignoring the Battle Angel vid and my personal responsibility to its completion). the Mononoke vid gets me all psyched, but unfortunately, it's going very very slowly. either because the song and/or concept make editing difficult, or because i'm a mindless perfectionist. or both. but it's happening, friends!
i'm also doing more site design these days. been working on the new SaiyanTripleStrike interface, and i think i'm ready to show Task the first main page. hope it goes over well. our trial system is pretty sweet.. when he likes what i've done ;p
also helping out with a 311 fansite some guy is putting together - designing the general layout, but he's doing the legwork, methinks. *sigh* can't win 'em all. ;p ;p
got the Ah! My Goddess movie with me Borders gift card, matey. but she's a temperamental one, me dvd player. yar..

trying to make myself more useful at the site. i've been around since long before i became a member, but you wouldn't know it. i've just now started using the journal. i somewhat wish i'd posted at the forum before it went down in flames, but in my own defense, i didn't want to become lost in the crowd, which is by all acounts, considerable in size. also i need to leave opinions for the vids i see and plan on doing so in the near future.
i NEED to finish my damn Battle Angel video. i NEED to take the garbage out before it engulfs us all. blah blah blah.. about the video though. eegads. i started this f'ker in late july. i just can't stay focused on it. i'll be so glad when it's finished.
been reading everyone's thoughts on AWA and seeing pics and such. it sounded like a helluva kickass time - i really wish i'd been there. or any amv con, for that matter. i'm hoping things go my way and i can make it to AWA next year.
must get some editing in before work. tally-ho!
