new hosting for eyewash, and they suck. i've been offline for weeks. listen friends, ArisHost *seems* like a good deal, but go the fuck elsewhere! anyway, i'm re-organizing the site again, very much for the better. the video studio is gone. why would i need it? i don't FINISH ANY VIDEOS. haha

my list of unfinished projects grows steadily by the day. a quick rundown of what comes to mind:...
+ Princess Mononoke, Ah! My Goddess, and Battle Angel amv's.
+ the Eyewash Design Studio - the other half of my site, and incidentally, the half with the most content.
+ STS site version 2. version 3 is done but waiting on version 2's completion to be released. the irony.
+ Hybrid OnlineDB - nothing major, just a little Hybrid fansite to put up on Geocities or something. would have taken no more than 2-3 days to complete, had i stayed on task.
+ FJUCKING CORRESPONDENCE COURSE, the *MIDTERM* of which i have yet to take. i absolutely suck.
+ various wallpapers and pieces of indy art.
and all of the above, no matter the importance, is currently taking a backseat to a.) work, and b.) the development of a new comic series.

just did a little voting in the VCA's. mother of satan, that was hard! although, it would've been harder had all of the videos in a catagory really belonged there, i.e. for Best Action, where was Shellshock??? i.e. Shining Collection for Video of the Year? (don't get me wrong, i think the video is wonderful, but deserving of the highest honor?) i.e. isn't Appetite For Dynamite better suited for Drama or something of that nature? it has action in it, but that doesn't make it an "action video," right? stuff like that.. but anyway. i digress. all the entries are incredible, and my hats-off to those who were nominated ^_^
been working a little on the eyewash design studio, which is forthcoming. slowly. been working on sts. i've also been toying with that battle angel video, with some daft punk this time around. decided to make this one only for myself - no expectations, no pressure, just me having fun. if i like it, i'll release it. if i don't, i'll can it and have lost nothing. ..dude. *teehee* i should do all my videos this way... -

i can't help but think i've lost any editing ability i may have had.
it came to my attention tonight that if you aren't editing for fun, it becomes work (which could explain my complete inability to finish a project since last effing summer). welp, since action videos are the most fun to make and i haven't done an action vid since FHM - and since matt has some Battle Angel clips on my computer - i thought i'd take a few hours and just toy around with some straight action editing. Battle Angel and mindless self indulgence, that's eeeeeasy.
nothing. nothing was right. just like the last 4 projects i've started. i perceive one of two possibilities: a. i'm so uptight about whether or not it's gonna SUCK, that i've resorted to excessive perfectionism, and everything has to be *flawless* before i'll leave it alone. or b. perfectionism is a good thing, i've just grown lazy enough that i'll give up without much of a fight if things don't flow like they used to.
both are probably true. either way, i want out of this funk! damn!
