Music can still survive and live on.....please give it a chance.....

Ah yes...I might have to pull off a music video from these guys later...oh fuck that would be interesting...V/Vm can be found at http://www.brainwashed.com/vvm - V/Vm is a beta band. The music is really abstract and if you don't like electronica, you'll hate it. You can also find a bunch of V/Vm on http://www.soulseek.org the stuff is some of the most disturbing covers and remakes of songs I've ever heard. Warped and distorted, I want more...yes...To pull off a video to this music would actually be like trying to pull off a video to Like Spinning Plates by Radiohead, because the music runs around and circles in your brain leaving you with a feeling dismantaled and horrified feeling. If you like the Beetles...you'll hate V/Vm...mainly because they remade Imagine...I personally...like it more than the original...because this gives me a whole knew emotion to think of the songs, and to music.
Knowing that people now days put out music like this, it gives me a whole new hope for the future of the art. Being that this site is 85 - 90% devoted to music (I'm giving it this much because the images are NOTHING without the music. If it didn't have the music, all it would be is chopped up anime. But if you left the music alone, it'll still be the music, and still kinder that originality that it had before), I thought this was an appropriate subject to talk about. I find today, that music is going downhill and losing everything. Don't get me wrong, I believe that a lot of mainstream artists to be really good and that they have the potential to restore what was lost a long time ago in music...EMOTION AND MEANING! Bands like Radiohead, Sarah McLachlan, Bjork, System of a Down, TOOL, etc. etc. But a few great bands cannot save what is happening. "Bands" like Linkin Park, Blink 182, and mainstream "hiphop" artists, who have no fucking musical talent but make it big and get more respect than the true artists. Isn't part of being a musician putting feeling and true emotion into a song instead of wanting to make money? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of being an artist? You don't write music, paint a painting, draw a picture, write a poem, primarily to make money, you do it to express yourself and express true thought. The whole thought of a rapper writing a song in 5 minutes, and someone producing it, and the so called artist has it made...
Why must music be bastardized like so? Why must all the good artists be given little to no respect? Why is it that bands that put emotion into music or true untainted meaning, not even known? Bands like Boards of Canada, Chris Clark, and V/Vm.
I don't even know if anyone cares about this subject, blah....
