  • It hurts to work... 2002-06-11 19:45:56 Papercut....1, 2, 3....4....wow, that's a record in one day. Good thing I don't have any lemon juice, else I'd probably throw torture at myself for a few seconds...haha, yeah right. Well, all functions such as breathing, and your basic physical functions haven't stopped yet, I'm still around and still good...I've just been working quite a bit. It hurts, but in the end it'll pay off...oh yes it will...damn fate for making me work so hard for one thing though. I HATE YOU FATE!

Naw, I don't know if I believe in fate or not, it's much like believing in God, where you don't have control over your life and everything is planned out by God for you (crazy...because God supposidly gives us 'Freewill'). So right now, I'm pretty much in the middle when it comes to such topics. Crazy you all! Yes, Crazy you all, I know what I wrote.
  • Run down the falling cries... 2002-06-06 19:20:17 Haha, quit one job, the same day my supervisor came up to me and said "So Jesse, what are you going to do when you get off work at 7?" My response "Write a song..." I gotta love OVERTIME...12 hour days -_- I slept like the dead that night. I haven't had it since, but it's an extra four hours to my paycheck.

God this rules...my friends are hyped on making a record label (oh oh, my idea! ^^) And one of them actually has a studio...good times I must say.

I plan on updating my videos tonight, but the trouble is my connection. I'm on dial-up, so that's a downside on uploading large numbers of 1's and 0's. I'll work my way around it. Time to get to music makin'.

  • Jobs of pain that bring joy... 2002-06-03 18:57:30 Two jobs is turning into one job tomorrow. Sorry Nicole if I haven't been doing much with music videos the past couple weeks -_- I'll be able to soon. Since the Con, I've been working 2 jobs. One is full time which starts at 7:00 AM and ends at 3:00 (I get home around 3:20), and the other is only Tuesday - Thursday from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM and when I get home, I don't want to do anything but sleep. The reason I've been hauling ass on this is because it gets me money, that's it, money. Taking on 2 jobs pretty much ruined me for these few weeks. I haven't been able to do anything I always like to do (i.e. - Music, AMVs, study) and it's been ripping me away from what I love, thus making me unbareably depressed. So I've decided to quit my night job...I think it's all for the better, hell, I'm getting a raise soon in my fulltime job, and it leaves more time for me. Around September, I plan on releasing a 6 song EP. I'll be making few copies, and yes, they'll be free ^^ So to those who read this, I'll post when the EP is complete.

As for my music videos, I'm finally getting around to finishing the Trigun video, and I have many more dancing through my head that will be put to action soon.

And again, sorry Nicole and sorry to the rest of you. Give me a week, and I'll be back to everything again. I need to get my first video released under Otaku Productions soon ^^

  • God Fridays rule... 2002-06-01 14:31:10 Good times, definitely. Last night was just like any other night, talked to Colleen, hung out with friends, played DDR, then at the usual time, we went to Dennys to eat some shitfilled food and discussed random philosophical things. I bought a microcassette recorder previous to DDR, which proved to come of some great use as the evening moved on.

Well, we started this ritual a couple weeks ago, where we'd just drive aimlessly around the Western Washington area, in hopes to find something awesome. This outing though, we had more than just Aaron and I. The others that accompanied us were Jenny, John, and Josh (hehe, including me, Jesse ^^ anyway). Well, I started recording the conversations in the car as the night started (mind you, the microcassette recorder came with 6 tapes...yum).

As I drove, we took turns at random until we reached one heading south. The quote that changed the night was "I have an idea, lets go to Portland" (thanks Aaron). So...we did...

    Time - 12:40 AM
    Destination - Portland, OR
    Distance - 134 miles South

We ventured to Oregon, stayed at Aaron's Dad's house (slept for an hour), drove around, and made it home by 10:30 AM Saturady.

    Oh yes...good times ^__^
