jbone: On the off chance you're reading this... Who and what is that snazzy MP3? I dig it.
Okay. My job at First American Title Company:
-Get a stack of papers.
-Find a folder in a filing cabinet that corresponds with that stack of papers.
-Remove policies from stack of papers.
-Check policies against stack of papers and papers in folder to ensure they are correct.
-Type up addresses for the correct policies to be mailed to.
-Place the stack of papers in the folder, and put the folder, policy, and typed up address thingie on someone's desk.
-Repeat.
-Have about one-third of the policies handed back to you because you typed up the wrong address.
-Fix 'em.
-Be done, and have nothing to do.
-Or, have something to do; look through filing cabinets, cardboard boxes, or stacks on the floor FULL of folders looking for some with a certain number. If you find one of the missing folders, your jubilation will be short, because there are still several others that need to be found, even though you've looked through the same damn boxes, stacks and filing cabinets about twenty times already.
-Find all the folders that can possibly be found (or at least are of immediate importance).
-Have nothing to do again.
This is my job. It might sound boring as hell, but really, the times I have nothing to do are worse than the times I have something boring to do... Still, for $8.00 an hour, there's no way in HELL I'm about to complain.
They gave me the day off tomorrow because... they have nothing for me to do. I still gotta work at the pizza joint in the evening, though. You'd damn better believe I'm gonna sleep in.
Work on my next AMV is progressing slowly... mostly because I don't want to work on it when my parents are here (and awake). The last thing I need is for them to see the expensive hardware and start asking questions as to my justification for blowing money on it (because I really don't have any :P ). I should get some work done on it tomorrow, though.
I'm now almost certain that not only will my video be going to Ani-Magic this fall, but that I'll be going with it.

Well, screw the credit union... I've got a part-time job at a pizza joint, doing deliveries, making pies, cleaning, and all that fun stuff, as well as a full-time job at a title company doing paperwork. I don't know for how long I'll be able to stand working two jobs like that, though... I'll have hardly any time for doing anything else (like finishing my next AMV or practicing DDR)! I might end up quitting the pizza joint... I'll feel bad about it, though, 'cuz apparently they've had a plague of crappy employees recently and I'm shocking them with my strong work ethic. :)
Speaking of my next AMV, it's going well. Lip synching isn't quite as hellish as I thought it would be, but I still think it'd be easier if I had two video tracks/layers/whatever the term is. I think it'll turn out really funny. I'm hoping to mke it to Ani-Magic this fall (http://www.ani-magic2002.org/) and debuting it there.
For those PC weenies who think that Macs don't have a wide selection of software... just check THIS out.

The credit uinion was supposed to call me today if I got the job, and... they didn't call. Dang it, I thought that interview went really well... I guess THEY didn't think so.
Well, staying home all day waiting for a phone call gave me time to get started on my next AMV, anyway.
My last few journal entries have been boring. Sorry to those of you reading along, but... so has life recently.

The job interview went well, I turned in my resume at yet another place just in case it didn't, and 23 people have downloaded Sausage Gut. Yay!
