  • New Toys, New Work 2002-10-10 21:35:20 Work has been real hectic these last few days. Yesterday I got a new toy I've been shopping for, a new CD-RW =) I ended up getting a Sony 48x CD-RW...for $40 (muhahaha!). It is an IDE drive and I only have a laptop so I have a FireWire in bound for about $55. So less than $100 for a FireWire, name brand, high speed CD-RW...I'm glad I like to shop around and wait (I have been looking for a new CD-RW since before AWA). Now I just need to find a good place to stack my AMV FireWire drive and new CD-RW where they are both out of the way and easy to access =P

    Work has started on the AMV CD Distro (this thing really needs a cool name). I have already received permission to use half of the CDs I got at AWA and people are getting ready to send me their AMV CDs as well. Once it looks like the rush of incoming CDs has been handled we'll focus on getting the distribution side up and running.

    On a side note I have finally had enough complaints about my AIM screen name not working so I've switched to "redwolfamv" so feel free to drop me a line (I do wonder who reads these journal entries after all).

    Looking forward to the weekend even if it does mean work of a different kind. 
  • Traffic Court 2002-10-08 09:00:35 I didn't sleep well at all last night. I'm use to insomneia and the like but last night I was up, out, up, out all night long. A lot of crap is going on and I think something hit me last night that is pushing me to a breaking point.

    I have to go to traffic court today over that car accident. Anywhere else in the state (except Peachtree City) I could have simply paid a fine and been done with it (especially since I ended up doing no damage to the other driver). But in Atlanta I have to drive BACK into Atlanta (the traffic that caused the accident) and lose anywhere from a few hours to half a work day just to pay a fine I would have gladly paid via mail weeks ago. 
  • Mein Kopf! 2002-10-06 21:07:56 Well I got stuff done this weekend. Went through half of the CDs I got from AWA. Got a few opinions I've been wanting to post posted. And I made a dumb ass out of myself on the forum by missing a 3 page post (how does one do such things?).

  • 9 Minutes and Counting 2002-10-04 16:44:25 Starcraft buddy needed to head out of town this weekend so scratch that. Still plenty of cool AMVs to go through, though (I've also been on a downloading rampage this week, grabbing everything I can that was at AWA).

    I'm also back in the market for a FireWire CD-RW (or at least I will be after the next pay day this month). Time to annoy Price Watch and Half.com again, muhaha!

    I have so much I WANT to do this weekend but that is much better than those weekends when I have so much I HAVE to do.

    - Go through that pile of CDs I got from AWA.
    - Do some AMV opinions I've been meaning to do.
    - Finish a video project I'm doing for my mom.
    - Get a good game of StarCraft in (Die, Zerg, Die!).

    I need a haircut, too. =P
