- Mac Help Guide 2002-06-23 02:30:01 I've been working on an AMV guide to help Mac users get started with AMV creation. The first draft of the guide is done and I'm looking for some Mac proof readers to let me know if is even worth bothering Phade about. - Gimie a Gig! 2002-06-22 21:18:22 I ordered a new hard drive for my laptop today. I currently have a 10GB IBM drive for my applications and some files and an 80GB firewire drive for AMV and backup storage. My 10 GB currently isn't quite large enough to hold everything I have now plus the games and AMVs I want to load. Since laptop drives are only 4400 rpm the new dirve won't help much toward making AMVs but it'll be real nice at cons when network gaming and AMV swapping comes into play.

- Hurry For Our Side! 2002-06-20 12:14:44 Well I will just say this: my meeting at work went well, I got what I hoped for (which was a little more than I was actually expecting), and everything seems to be just dandy. I know, I know: enough of your good news, give us the bloody video! Well even though the raise doesn't kick in until mid-July cause of pay schedule I'll go ahead and look at upgrading my server space and hopefully get the MPEG-1 uploaded either on Friday afternoon or Monday morning. I'm not going to try and upload the file from my 56k dial up at home, sorry.

Two pieces of news:
1. I'm having an evaluation meeting at work at the end of this week. I am hoping for a pay raise by the end of that meeting. If that happens then I'll go ahead and invest in more server space earlier than I had originally planned. This means that I could have a downloadable MPEG-1 version of Drops of Sailor Jupiter available as early as June 24. I'll let y'all know what happens.
2. I've begun work on my second AMV. This video is being made for the Dance Theme Challenge at AWA this year. The theme this year is the 80s. Since this video is being made for a con and the fact that if another video uses the same song I'm using then my video may not make the cut you'll understand if I don't announce this video or make it available to the public until after AWA (September 27-29). I will say that the second video is also going to be a Sailor Moon character profile (and yes, I will do something different for my third AMV =P). If you simply can't wait until October to see the video then please feel free to make arrangments to attend AWA (http://www.awa-con.com).
