Well..today was a very interesting one.
School started off well. First class? Social. Our teacher wasn't there, so a sub came. We watched 'Remember the Titans'.
It kinda gets annoying after you watch it for the umptheenth time.
But then it got interesting..
Right as the bell was about to go, we get an intercom message. From the principal no doubt. To tell us to stay in our classrooms as the bell went on, and that nothing was to be worried about.
Nobody listened to that last part.
So, we stay. For almost 30 minutes. Fortunately, the classroom is attached right next to the library (which was accommodating..another class. our friends too =D) so we hung around there for a while. Eventually a teacher came and told us to go to our lockers and see if there was anything..unusual in them.
Apparently there is a bomb threat.
There was nothing in my locker (thankfully!! ^.^), and I went back to the library, talked with some kids. Then we got sent to 3rd period..we entirely skipped 2nd...which happened to be Science (No testing vehicles today! ARRGH!)
3rd was all right. Art. I'm designing (and filming later) a television commercial. Awesomeness. Although not many people were there (A lot of people skipped after 2nd)
4th was Math. It would have been great, until we got sent to the gym. For an assembly. When we were there, our principal was kind (-_-) enough to tell us that they got a tip from someone that something was apparently gonna happen at 8:40. They called back at 8:55 and repeated the message.
The second message was all it took to get the school to get them police out and around the school, searching. There was also supposedly a bomb squad, although nobody's saying anything.
Nobody's found the culprit. Hah ^.^ The teachers are mighty pissed about this. But it's all good because...
1. Our school's so ghetto no one would think of bombing it.
2. Nothing was found.
3. Classes were disrupted. No homework today.
4. Day in Lieu tommorow. No school on Friday.
WAIT? DID I SAY NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY?
Yeah. I did.
Plus, no school on Monday either (Victoria Day). Which leaves me to end this entry with this...

Wow, two posts in one day. I feel amazed.

Hmm...so I decided to do a journal today. I thought it might help me meet more people, and help me with my writing (Not that it's bad...it's just inconsistent)
Anyways, those reading this might know me, and those who don't, you can check out my profile. But just as a recap, I'm a newbie editor with the following under his belt..

Sound impressive? Nah...
BTW, the title's a sort of 'homage' to Dragon Ball. The last volume of the manga is titled Goodbye Dragon World (and for good reason too =( ). I thought this was a nice way to start off (hopefully) a good writing stint here.
Anyways, real world stuff. What did I do today?
Well, I had a PAT this morning. A Provincial Achievement Test, which all grade 9's in Alberta need to take. We went to Queen Elizabeth, the local high school, went into the computer lab, and had to write either a narrative or an essay about the suggestions/advice influencing a person, and a business letter about a defective product.
It was pretty boring, but we got an extra half hour for lunch. So it was all good.
Science was pretty fun. We're studying space, so we're making a wind powered vehicle. The project my friend and I are working on is dubbed 'Turtlerunner'. It's looking pretty well for a former orange juice carton! (Smells good too). We had two days to build it, and tomorrow is test day, in which our teacher will get a old-school fan (Cause they go fast), and we'll see which ones go fast. Then the winners will race against the best of the other classes.
Sounds exciting.
Well, after school was pretty boring. Did some homework, took a 4 hour nap (yawn...-_-), then came here and started writing. Awesome accomplishment, eh?
I'll be back tomorrow to write some more stuff, and maybe talk about some cool AMVs here and there. Can't wait. See ya!!
