Forever and Before was one of the three finalists in the Drama category at Animecentral. The others were Koop's Euphoria and ShonenDizzyCow's My Fading Voice, Your Distant Heart...good company. Obviously, I'm happy to know it was so well-received.

Work on Blue Skies (my AWA Pro entry) is progressing, albeit much slower than before. I haven't been able to work on it quite as much the past few days, and being such a technically complicated video, editing gets to be tiring when the creative wheels aren't turning quite so well. But, I have a couple of months to finish it, so it's not like a deadline is rapidly approaching.
Since I'll be keeping the video under wraps until AWA itself, I figure I should try to have another project going on the side. To be honest, I'm really itching to do another slow drama video (gee, I wonder what my favorite genre is?), so I might play around with that this evening to see what I can come up with. There's a little-known OAV series I'd like to use for source and a song I've been wanting to do something with for awhile now, and I just now realized how well the two match, so it's worth a shot. It should be a simple video, but with a certain amount of emotional impact. I'm actually looking forward to working on it...
I'm off to rip the DVD...and I should probably swing by Best Buy later and pick up the CD to replace my MP3 version of the song (although, I guess I can go ahead and edit with the MP3 audio and just switch things out in the end). -

I've finally begun work on what is likely to be my AWA Pro entry. The video has been in the planning stages for quite some time, so I'm making good progress...already about 35% done, and that's a pretty complicated 35%. It'll be my most technical video to date, and at the rate things are going, will likely be my best thus far. Seriously...it's looking really good.
- Really? 2003-04-28 21:22:00 Hmm..."Sakura no Yume" currently holds the #1 spot in the star scale list. I doubt that will last long, but it's cool to see it there nonetheless. I think it's also pretty cool that, after 8 opinions, it still has a perfect 10.00 for originality.
- ACen 2003-04-22 17:38:35 Mailed my ACen entry today ("Forever and Before"). Here's hoping it arrives before the deadline. I would've submitted it via FTP using Quu's new setup, but my internet connection has been too flaky lately to allow for a 200+ MB upload.
