    I've been listening to my Eiken video song a lot, and when I watch chunks of Eiken set to the music, I find myself liking Eiken a little more.

    I'm going to Hell, aren't I?

  • AMV Update 2005-09-25 02:14:08 A new idea and a better idea.

    I changed the song for my Elfen Lied vid idea. The original song was all right, but I was never completely comfortable with it, because the video is random-action and the song had something of a storyline. The new song is metal and has no storyline, so it should work. I'm listening to the new song right now, and the vid should rock when I make it.

    As for the new idea...

    Remember when I told you about Eiken? Well, I've seen both episodes now, and I can tell you that it's definitely raunchy to say the least. The bare story (no pun intended) is actually fairly decent, but it's then so heavily slathered with monster boobage and ecchi madness that it's no longer a good story anymore.

    Anyway, my newest video idea tries to redeem the central story of Eiken. That's all I can tell you for now; anything else would be a spoiler. I'll leave your mind to wonder how I could possibly use Eiken to make a good video.

    Hahahahaha!!! Now you won't sleep tonight! My plan is working brilliantly! 
  • Mother of God -- He's Back!! 2005-08-30 13:07:44 That's right, ladies and gents; after a long hiatus, I have returned. Sorry I haven't updated recently, but I've just been so busy.

    So over the summer, I thought about my AMV ideas a lot. I dropped some ideas, added others, and revised some others. I've updated the counter on my profile to reflect this.

    Our UGAnime meetings have started up again, and the schedule is lookin' decent. Here's the lineup:

    - Honey and Clover
    - Escaflowne
    - Kimagure Orange Road
    - Full Moon wo Sagashite
    - Heat Guy J
    - Berserk

    Looks good, huh? Well, I really couldn't tell you. I had to finish a biology lab assignment (f***in' sh**), so I only got to see Berserk. The first episode had a lot of bloodshed in it. It was really intense, so I'm looking forward to seeing the rest.

    I've been downloading a lot of anime lately. Most recently, I've acquired Naruto through episode 100. I think I might have been overdoing it a little lately, 'cause I got somewhat of a "watch it" from Student Tech last night. Apparently, they've been monitoring my traffic -- something like 77 gigs of transfer in the last two days. I couldn't believe it myself. Maybe I should slow it down a little.

    Then again, it's anime, right? Huh? Am I right?

    Anyway, it's good to be back on campus. I'll see you soon!! 
  • 5/1/05 2005-05-01 18:00:54 Well, this is my last week here at UGA. This time next week, I'll be home.

    I recently thought up a bunch of AMV ideas. Two of them use Neon Genesis Evangelion, two more are Inuyasha AMV's, one uses the Animatrix, and yet another is a Ranma video that should have been done already (remember the NGE video I mentioned before?)

    This brings the total ideas to nineteen. Either I need to stop thinking of AMV's or I need to buy Adobe Premiere. I vote for the latter.

    Oh well, I guess I should probably prepare for finals. See ya!

    Okay, how about a nice long post for the ol' journal?

    First, I'd like to talk about an anime that I saw last week - a little show called Eiken. OMG, that has got to be the most fanservice I've ever seen. It's pretty much borderline porn. For those who haven't seen it, here's the breakdown: on the first day of school, this guy named Densuke gets ambushed by this club known as the Eiken club. The thing is that it's an all-girl club, and half the girls in it have breasts bigger than their heads. For seemingly no reason, Densuke quickly develops a crush on one of them, named Chiharu. Over the course of the series, Densuke tries to tell Chiharu how he feels about her; however, on the road to this end, he runs into several sexually provocative situations. This is an anime that you truly have to see to believe. I only saw the first episode (there are only 2), and to say it was interesting would be the understatement of the year. I had a hard time grasping it, though, mostly due to everyone in my anime club loudly declaring some form of WTF every 15 seconds. And since it's in my nature to finish everything I start, I want to see both episodes to see just how good, bad, or sick it really is. Once I have, I'll get back to you.

    Second, remember that AMV idea I had earlier? It turns out that I might be able to pull that one off. So, I'll add it to my list.

    I'm kind of looking forward to working on the farm this summer. My parents are raing my "wages" this year, so I'm going to saving every penny to buy anime and computer stuff and Adobe Premiere. Oh yeah, and I'll spend some on college stuff, too.

    I've been listening to AMV songs a lot lately. My AMV songs are the ones that I want to use in AMV's. I read that it was a good idea to listen to them over and over so you can analyze the lyrics, compare them with the anime, and put the right clips with the right lyrics. It's working pretty well for me.

    Well, I guess that's enough for now. I have a chemistry class in the morning and I NEED SLEEP, DANGIT! So I guess I'll see you soon.
