Somebody? Please either make a video worthy of Lamb's "Fly" or point me toward an anime that would fit it. Because it is so damn fantastic, but I don't think I've seen any series that works with it so far. (Maybe Shamanic Princess? I thought Escaflowne at first, but I'm leery of even going near that series after all the good vids that have been made from it already.)
AniMix 129 is a wrap. I'm not getting 112 after all; they want one video per creator for this part. Oh well. I've worked a little on the Yami vid that I had half-finished before; it's still limping along painfully. And I'm ripping files for an artsy SKU vid that may or may not be finished.
Basically I'm still cooling my heels till either I come up with a great idea, or I'm able to work on one of my previous good ideas that lacked source.
God, my sentence structure is crap today. I'm still a little ill. Sorry.

Yay, many of those banners didn't suck!!
Though, guys? Are you living under a rock? A LOT of creators don't make AMVs for free. They're selling their stuff at cons. Not for free. Other than that, good job not sucking. *thumbs-up*
Couldn't fit my AniMix track on my web space. None of the FTP addys they gave on the ML are working. Frustrating.

So after thinking about it for a while, I've decided to rebel by making my "too silly" clip even more silly. As silly as I can possibly make it. I wanna have the silliest clip in AniMix 4. >:D
I am now taking my first stab at rotoscoping - let's hope I survive all 74 frames without a major bout of repetitive strain injury. (I think I can reuse some of them once one "cycle" of the clip is done...let's hope.)
I had to be stubborn that way. Heck, I signed up because it looked fun, and I'm going to make it fun, if I have to trample cities in my way like Godzilla on a rampage. FUN, DAMMIT! FUN!
Wish I had caffeine, though. Ah well.

Have discovered BitTorrent. O_o It's like a supermarket. My gosh. I hardly know where to start. (I'm getting Rose of Versailles first, though. At least part of it.)
So I thought of an actually doable comedy video idea that won't require my buying an entire new box set just for it alone. Score. And it's the sort that might be fun to try to get played at a con. Problem is, the song is rather long and I don't think it would be con-friendly because of that... maybe I can try entering it somewhere as an exhibition entry or somethin'.
This is off in the distance, though, it'll probably be done by the time con season 2004 rolls around in the summer.
Signed up for an AniMix track. And isn't it sad that I have a little outline planned for a 15-second vid? Heheh. Of course, I'm not married to that one; I could try any number of them. But it sounds fun anyway. Forces one to conserve. If the first goes well I have another in mind that I'd like, too.
My upcoming-projects slate is all screwy now, because of all of these things... but I've got plenty to work on, and that's the important thing to me.
Good thing, too, because the forums are just stupid anymore... it's pretty much official now that the rules don't apply to everyone, and that sort of thing pisses me off. I'll put up with clashes between members as long as the administration isn't biased, and that doesn't seem to be the case here after all. So, meh. I've given up on the off-topic forums; General AMVs may be next.
But the good thing is that I have enough to work on without looking for new things to do.
